Abstract/Summary:
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 6-weeks plyometric training combined with unsteady training on quickness movement ability and reducing the risk of injury of male badminton players of university. The training effect was evaluated from two aspects of sports performance and injury protection test,to investigate the difference between plyometric training combined with unsteady training mode and single Plyometric training mode in improving athletes’ quickness movement ability and reducing the risk of anterior cruciate ligament injury. Methods: Sixteen male university badminton players were randomly divided into plyometric training combined with unsteady training PB group(eight male)and Plyometric training PL group(eight male).Three times a week,90 minutes each time. The BP group received unsteady training before Plyometric training. The training scheme of the PL group was the same as that of the PB group, and the training of the PB group on the unsteady interface was carried out on the hard ground in the PL group. The pre-and post-training tests included T-test,Dynamic Posture Stability test,Hexagon test and Knee anterior cruciate ligament injury test.Results:(1)The completing time of Hexagon test in PB group decreased from3.83±0.31 s to 2.89±0.14 s,which was significantly better than that in PL group(P <0.05).(2)The grade of T-test in PB group increased from 7.38±0.19 s to 6.71±0.17 s,which was more significant than that in PL group(P < 0.05).(3)Nondominant leg DPSI:forward jump in PB group increased from 0.388±0.002 to 0.381±0.001,0.387±0.001 to 0.378±0.001 for lateral jump(P < 0.05).Dominant leg DPSI in the PB group:forward jump increased from 0.387±0.002 to 0.381±0.001,lateral jump increased from 0.385±0.002 to 0.378±0.001,significantly higher than that of the PL group(P< 0.05).(4)Pressure center(COP),PB group non dominant leg,COP forward jump distance reduced from 131.59±19.04 cm to 107.11±12.8cm,lateral jump distance decreased from 135.19±19.73 cm to 108.60±10.6cm,the effect was significantly better than PL group(P < 0.05).Dominant leg in PB group, the total movement distance of cop in forward jump decreased from 131.60±22.1cm to 109.70±18.5cm,the movement distance of lateral jump decreased from 131.25±19.38 cm to 110.05±10.1cm,which was significantly better than PL group(P < 0.05).(5)In the protective test of ACL injury, the LSI of PL group decreased from 95.64±5.56% to 87.26±6.74%,which was significantly better than that of PB group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 6-week plyometric training combined with unsteady training is better than plyometric training only in improving the quickness movement ability of male university badminton players and reducing the risk of ACL injury.
