The Effectiveness Of Vocational College Students’ Career Planning

Career planning of vocational college students and the exertion of its effectiveness impact directly the students’ employment competence and career prospects.Considering that many vocational college graduates or even undergraduates are under great employment pressure,it is quite necessary to carry out research on the effectiveness of vocational college students’ career planning and such research would no doubt help to perfect the theoretical system of career planning in our country and help vocational colleges change value concepts in time and realize the importance of career planning education.The research would also help vocational college students know themselves better,make clear their weak points,estimate their vocational ability appropriately and finally,choose their career orientation and career goal rationally.This paper,using the method of field survey and investigation,and relying on students of several typical vocational colleges in Fujian province as study objects,collects and analyzes materials and data of each stage of career planning in vocational colleges by granting questionnaires regarding the effectiveness of career planning in vocational colleges in Fujian province.Basing on the research of the current status of the effectiveness of career planning in vocational colleges in Fujian province and taking into account the insufficiencies of career planning in above-said area,this paper,starting from each stage of career planning,presents strategies for improving the effectiveness of it in vocational colleges.
