This era marks the rapid development and technological innovation of Internet.Traditional classroom teaching which is teacher-centered and the text book-centered are more likely to suffocate students’ critical thinking and innovation,which,in this case,cannot meet the talent demand of this new era or accommodate the purpose of modern education.But,admittedly,this face-to-face teaching mode has its irreplaceable role.This thesis,with the methods of literature research,comparison and case study,holds that community-based classroom teaching reform in the current circumstances under the guidance of student-centered educational philosophy has its theoretical basis,like humanism and constructivism.The emergence of flipped classroom can be perceived as an initial practice of community-based classroom teaching reform which,on this basis,draws from both flipped classroom and traditional classroom teaching,including autonomous learning before class,knowledge internalization after class and more specifically,the four principles concerning the design of the task list before class and group activities in class.In addition,social practice courses are introduced to involve all the teachers and students each semester and let them play roles of people from all walks of life so as to enrich their experiences and improve their capabilities.Teachers,facing classroom teaching reform,are required to keep up with the times and improve professional capabilities.They should also take a positive view of the shift of teacher’s role,from primarily an initiator to an instructor,mentor and a companion,and in a timely manner adjust student evaluation methods,from summative assessment and formative assessment.The emergence of the Internet facilitates community-based classroom teaching reform in a way that it has solved many problems in the process of reform,like to supervise students’ autonomous learning,which in this case provides a perfect platform for the reform.In my opinion,classrooms are turned into open communities where students can communicate their ideas freely.Only in this way can we realize the purpose of education,that is,to cultivate people.Teachers should teach their students the awareness of autonomous learning,ability to self-study and cultivate a positive view towards life.When traditions are broken,we have laid the foundation of innovation and creativity.This kind of classroom teaching reform has shown the six basic points of core values. |
