Research On Ideological And Political Education Of Retired College Students In The New Era

In the context of the changing world situation and complex international relations,the maintenance of national territory,sovereignty and security is becoming more and more important,and increasingly depends on the progress of the cause of building a strong military through science and technology.The development of the cause depends on excellent national defense science and technology talents and high-quality soldiers.In the new era,the central government has made a major decision to recruit soldiers from college students,which is an inevitable requirement for improving the quality of the army and building a modern army.Similarly,their return to school is a natural choice for national construction,people’s happiness and people’s all-round development.With the number of college students returning from the army increasing year by year,a series of ideological problems and practical difficulties they are facing are also highlighted.The research on the ideological and political education of retired college students has increasingly become a theoretical and practical issue in the field of Ideological and political education.At present,it is of great significance to do a good job in the ideological and political education of retired college students.It is a political task to implement the requirements of the Party Central Committee for "Building Morality and cultivating people",an inevitable requirement to promote their adult talents,and an important force to boost the modernization of national defense and the army.In order to understand the current situation of the retired college students in China,this study used the method of combining questionnaire survey and interview,conducted a questionnaire survey on 493 retired college students with different academic levels,and interviewed more than 20 retired college students with different academic levels,focusing on understanding the current situation,existing problems,causes of problems and how to carry out ideological and political education for the retired college students.Through investigation,it is found that the retired college students have high ideological awareness and good political literacy;Strong sense of discipline and hard work style of soldiers;Good willpower,hardworking;Rich life experience and strong working ability;Strong sense of national defense,good physical fitness and other positive aspects.But at the same time,it also faces the problem of academic burden;Difficulties in interpersonal communication;The transformation of roles faces challenges;The future of career development is confused;The psychological pressure is difficult to bear.The main reason lies in the impure motivation of returning college students;Unclear learning purpose;Inaccurate role positioning;High expectations of preferential treatment;Objective cause coupling and other reasons.In the new era,new tasks and requirements have been put forward for the ideological and political education of retired college students.First,students are urged to carry forward the spirit of being brave to take on responsibilities and devote themselves to national defense;Second,leading students to establish the lofty ideal of building the country and serving the people;The third is to encourage students to cultivate the noble sentiment of not considering gains and losses and not seeking privileges;Fourth,encourage the students to pursue the hardworking spirit of hard work and painstaking study;The fifth is to guide students to master scientific learning methods and learning skills.The ideological and political education of returned college students should be carried out from four aspects: first,strengthen positive education and guide students’ self-discipline;Second,understand and respect non discrimination,and do not let equal demands go unchecked;Third,close military civilian cooperation and continuous training of talents;Fourth,solve practical problems and consolidate the ideological foundation.
