The poverty phenomenon of elderly women has profound social and cultural origins in the study of poverty,and is generally linked to a series of social issues such as marriage,employment and childbirth.With the aging of the population,researchers have paid more attention to the poverty of elderly women.The multidimensional poverty problems of elderly women in their later life,such as low economic income,poor living environment,declining health level,flagging mental state,inadequate social support and inadequate social security,highlight the importance of poverty treatment of elderly women.Currently,there are many studies on elderly female poverty from the perspective of gender.However,as the concept of poverty changes from single dimension to multi-dimension,understanding elderly female poverty from a more precise level is helpful to expand the current research field of elderly poverty and female poverty.As the national the first city to enter the aging society,the aging population of Shanghai in the past 20 years has been higher than the national average,in the case of high aging,the elderly population in Shanghai show women population proportion is high,the elderly population is significantly higher than male,the female life expectancy was significantly higher than that of male "three highs" characteristics,Among them,the elderly female group in multidimensional poverty has become an important group of elderly poverty management in Shanghai.The current domestic researchers for multidimensional poverty standard consensus has not been formed with measure,for older women multidimensional poverty problem research,much less a little,so this article to clear older women multidimensional poverty concept for studying the logical starting point,by practical ability theory and gender for older women’s theory multidimensional poverty problem,In the research process,in-depth interview,grounded theory and other qualitative research methods were adopted to extract the manifestation of multidimensional poverty of elderly women.Through the revised multidimensional poverty identification index system to identify and measure the multidimensional poverty status of elderly women in Shanghai,the results show that there are multidimensional poverty situation of elderly women in Shanghai,especially in the capacity accumulation,health level,social support and other dimensions of the high incidence of poverty.The basic research framework of this paper is as follows:First,based on the existing literature on multidimensional poverty and poverty of elderly women,the concept and connotation of multidimensional poverty of elderly women are explained in detail,and the performance and characteristics of poverty of elderly women in the context of multidimensional poverty are understood.Second,according to the theory of practical ability and social gender theory put forward women multidimensional poverty problem,choose 60 low-income families in Shanghai,the lowest life guarantee,the heavy disease family,the family lost the older women in the family,the pure old family alone in-depth interviews,through analyzing the interview data coding concise out older women relatively poor performance of six dimensions,Furthermore,the analysis strategy of grounded theory is further used to logically sort out the causes of multidimensional poverty among elderly women.Thirdly,after obtaining six forms of multidimensional poverty of elderly women through qualitative research,combing with the establishment of multidimensional indicators for the elderly in existing literature research,,the measurement indicators are modified,added and deleted by Delphi expert interview method,and finally the multidimensional poverty measurement indicator system of elderly women is constructed.Including economic life,ability accumulation,health level,development opportunities,social support,social security,6 primary indicators and 21 secondary indicators.At the same time,the a-F multidimensional poverty measurement method was used to construct the multidimensional poverty measurement model of elderly women,and the multidimensional poverty of elderly women was identified and measured by constructing data matrix and calculating the double critical value of poverty.At the same time,the a-F multidimensional poverty measurement method was other central urban areas and songjiang District,Pudong New District and other non-central urban areas.235 valid questionnaires were obtained.Stata14.0 was used for descriptive analysis of the basic situation of the questionnaire.EXCEL was used to input questionnaire data and form multidimensional poverty deprivation matrix.By constructing data matrix and calculating double critical value of poverty,this paper identifies and measures multidimensional poverty of elderly women.Fifth,on the basis of qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,combining with the Shanghai civil affairs staff,community workers and so on a line of practitioners of semi-structured interviews,summed up the current Shanghai elderly women multidimensional poverty problems existing in the process and thus put forward to promote the Shanghai elderly women multidimensional poverty governance effect of countermeasures and Suggestions,In order to improve the quality of life of elderly women in their later years and promote elderly women to share the fruits of social development..
