Governance Dilemma And Countermeasures Of NPOs In Kunshan

With the rapid development of modern society,and the gradual decentralization of government power,the development space of non-profit organizations in China is constantly expanding,the development environment is constantly optimized,and the number of non-profit organizations is also growing rapidly.Non profit organizations also play an important role in the political,economic,cultural and other aspects of social development.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,Kunshan,as an important urban node connecting Shanghai and Jiangsu,has seized the opportunity to develop vigorously,leaping from a small agricultural county to the top of 100 counties in China.And thanks to the influx of a large number of foreign capital,Kunshan’s economy has developed rapidly,and Kunshan’s local non-profit organizations have also developed rapidly.By the end of 2020,there are more than 900 registered non-profit organizations in Kunshan.Although the number of non-profit organizations in Kunshan is considerable in terms of the size of county-level cities,the county-level non-profit organizations are far less powerful than the social organizations at the ministerial and provincial levels in terms of discourse power and influence.County level non-profit organizations are weak in their own hematopoietic capacity,lack of independence,development still does not have enough attention.To a great extent,these restrict the development of county non-profit organizations.County level non-profit organizations are the first line of project implementation.The mismatch between quantity and influence is worth reflecting and needs to be changed.Based on the specific growth environment of non-profit organizations in Kunshan County,this paper discusses the development and Governance Dilemma of non-profit organizations in Kunshan county.This paper analyzes the relationship between the governance and development environment of non-profit organizations in Kunshan,and the relationship between internal governance and external collaborative supervision governance.
