A Study On The Political Influence Of Japan’s "Iron Triangle Of Party,Bureaucrat And Consortium"

The "Iron Triangle of Party,Bureaucrat and Consortium" is a triangular relationship formed by the Liberal Democratic Party（LDP）,bureaucrats and Consortium based on mutual exchange of interests and mutual use to seek their own interests.It plays an important role in the domestic political operation of Japan,and even decides the formulation of policies in some fields.It is an important factor for the Long-term ruling of the LDP during the 1955 system.In 1993,With the end of the LDP’s 38 years in power,some people believe that the "iron triangle" has come to an end with the end of the LDP’s long rule.Although the collusion between the LDP,bureaucrats and consortium still exists,there is little research on the current status and political influence of the relationships in the "iron Triangle".In order to study the effectiveness of the current "iron Triangle",this paper makes use of literature analysis and case analysis to sort out the history of the "Iron Triangle of Party,Bureaucrat and Consortium" during the 1955 system.Then it analyzes the demand of the "iron Triangle" and its influence mechanism on policy making,and analyzes the existence basis and political influence of the "iron Triangle" after the end of the 1955 system,so as to judge the effectiveness of the "iron Triangle" in the current Political operation of Japan.The research content is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the definition of "iron Triangle" and the connotation of "Iron Triangle of Party,Bureaucrat and Consortium" in Japanese politics,and then introduces the formation process of the "iron Triangle" and analyzes its characteristics;The second part analyzes the needs of the Liberal Democratic Party,the bureaucrats and the business circle to the other two parties,and how the three affect the formation of Japanese political decision-making,and finally analyzes the political influence of the "iron Triangle" during the 1955 system;The third part introduces the role and influence of the "iron Triangle" on Japan during the 1955 system,and introduces the reform of the exposed problems and the resistance encountered in the process of reform;The fourth part analyzes the new changes of the "iron Triangle" after the end of the 1955 system,introduces the new "official residence dominated" decision-making mode,and then analyzes whether the existing basis of the "iron Triangle" and the political influence produced by the "iron Triangle" has changed.The final conclusion is drawn that although the political influence of the "Iron Triangle of Party,Bureaucrat and Consortium" has been greatly reduced after the end of the 1995 system,the existing foundation still exists,so the "Iron Triangle of Party,Bureaucrat and Consortium" will maintain its long-term existence.
