Researchon Farmers’ Main Rolein Rural Revitalization

As the main body of rural revitalization,only by adhering to the dominant position of farmers,can the Rural Revitalization Strategy consolidate its roots and strengthen its foundation.However,there are some problems in the practice of rural revitalization,such as "cadres and the masses",which reflect the insufficient role of farmers as the main body.Therefore,focusing on the current situation of farmers’ subjectivity,on this basis,clarifying the factors that affect farmers’ subjectivity,and seeking ways to improve subjectivity on the basis of theoretical research results can provide useful help for the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy.Based on the empowerment theory and the state society relationship theory,combined with the existing research results,this paper carries out field research on the exertion of farmers’ main role,and describes and analyzes the results of 136 farmers’ questionnaires from 19 villages in 14 cities divided into districts in Shandong Province,Sichuan Province,Zhejiang Province and Guangdong Province.This paper makes an empirical analysis on the influencing factors of farmers’ subjectivity from the three levels of rural development,rural construction and rural governance,and uses SPSS software to find out the main factors affecting farmers’ subjectivity in Rural Revitalization from the three levels of rural development,rural construction and rural governance.At the level of rural development,the annual income of farmers’ families and whether farmers join economic cooperatives are the significant factors that affect the main role of farmers;At the level of rural construction,the working style of village cadres,the number of village social organizations and the use of public funds are the significant factors that affect the main role of farmers;At the level of rural governance,the construction and excavation of village culture are the significant factors that affect the main role of farmers.For further in-depth research,combined with the specific practical experience of giving full play to the role of farmers as the main body in rural revitalization,the influencing factors obtained from empirical analysis are analyzed in typical cases of giving full play to the role of farmers as the main body,to verify the conclusions of empirical analysis,and to find out the practical path from the three aspects of rural development,rural construction and rural governance.Based on the research conclusion,combined with the background of rural revitalization,there are the following countermeasures and suggestions to promote the main role of farmers:changing the functional orientation of the government;Perfecting the mechanism of increasing farmers’ income;Change the working mode of village cadres;Support social work institutions to incubate village social organizations;To guarantee the villagers’ right of autonomy;Strengthen the training of farmers’ vocational skills;Fully tap the traditional culture of the village.
