| At present,the staff of public institutions in our country are mainly com-posed of civil servants,institution establishment staff,and non-staff personnel.As the main body of exercising public power,the work performance of the em-ployees of public institutions will directly affect the administrative efficiency and service quality of the public sector.The job satisfaction of employees is closely related to work efficiency and work quality.Therefore,it is necessary to study the job satisfaction of public institution employees and improve the work efficiency and quality of public institution employees.This paper reviews the domestic and foreign current situation of em-ployee job satisfaction and related theories,studies the research history and re-sults of employee satisfaction,fully understands the important factors that affect employee job satisfaction,and puts forward related hypotheses.Through the 9 dimensions of remuneration,welfare,bosses,colleagues,promotion opportunities,job nature,sense of identity,rules and regulations,and information communica-tion,a job satisfaction questionnaire survey was conducted on the employees of the P County Z Bureau.It is found that the job satisfaction of all employees is generally between sat-isfaction and dissatisfaction.There are obvious differences in job satisfaction among employees with different status in this satisfaction survey.In the entire 9 dimensions,there are obvious differences in the four dimensions of remuneration,welfare,sense of identity,and promotion opportunities.The differences in the other five dimensions of bosses,colleagues,information communication,rules and regulations,and job nature are not obvious.Civil servants are dissatisfied with promotion opportunities,information communication,and rules and regulations;institution establishment staff are dissatisfied with promotion opportunities,remuneration,and welfare;and non-staff personnel are dissatisfied with remuneration,sense of identity,welfare,and promotion opportunities.The over-all satisfaction is that the civil servants are higher than the non-staff personnel.Finally,combining the research hypothesis with the research conclusion,suggestions for improv-ing job satisfaction are put forward to all employees,civil servants,institution establishment staff,and non-staff personnel,making this study of practical sig-nificance. |
