Research On Xi Jinping’s Outlook Of Youth Since The Eighteenth National Congress Of The Communist Party Of China

Strong youth is strong,seize the youth is to seize the future of national development.Since its establishment,the Communist Party has regarded youth groups as an important force in promoting economic and social development.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),under the background of increasingly fierce struggle in the field of international ideology and talent competition,and under the call of the era of the great review of the Chinese dream of the Chinese nation,how to accurately grasp the characteristics of young people and how to explore the correct path of youth training have become an important issue of the times in the face of prominent problems such as the weakening of the consciousness of arduous struggle,the lack of firm ideals and beliefs,and the lack of sense of responsibility.Based on the characteristics of youth,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a comprehensive and profound exposition of youth talent and youth training,and gradually formed a youth view with clear theme orientation,rich connotation system and clear logical structure.This paper reveals the dual value of Xi Jinping’s youth view to theory and practice by analyzing the formation basis,constructing its theoretical system and excavating its theoretical character.The formation basis of Xi Jinping’s view on youth includes three aspects.One is the theoretical basis.From the perspective of theoretical sources,the youth view of Marxist classical writers is the fundamental basis,the Chinese Marxist youth view is the important basis,and the educational thought in Chinese excellent traditional culture is the cultural origin.Two is the basis of reality.The formation of Xi Jinping’s view on youth is based on the realistic needs of great nation review,the rapid development of information technology and the fierce struggle in the ideological field.Three is the practical basis.The hard work of the educated youth,the rich practice of local governance and the influence of good family tradition have played a positive role in promoting the formation of Xi Jinping’s view on youth to a certain extent.Xi Jinping’s view of youth is a complete and rich theoretical system with rigorous logic level,which includes four parts: the theory of youth characteristics,the theory of youth status,the theory of youth growth and the theory of youth cultivation.There is a strong logical connection between these four parts,which are closely linked and progressive,and constitute the theoretical framework of Xi Jinping’s view of youth.Youth characteristics theory is a precise cognition of youth characteristics in the new era.Youth status theory is a profound exposition of the important position of youth in the current era.Xi Jinping discusses the important role of youth from five aspects : national rejuvenation,international exchanges,technological and industrial revolution,leading social trends and the prosperity of the party’s cause.Youth growth theory is the direction planning of youth personal growth.Xi Jinping provides the direction for youth growth from five aspects: patriotism,struggle,truth-seeking,moral cultivation and clear debate.The youth cultivation theory is based on the three important subjects of youth education and training,and clarifies the principles,methods and contents of the youth cultivation work of the Communist Youth League,schools and families.Xi Jinping’s view of youth has distinct theoretical character and prominent value of the times.From the theoretical character,Xi Jinping’s youth view highlights the practical,humanistic,dialectical and epochal characteristics.In terms of the value of the times,in theory,Xi Jinping’s view on youth inherits and develops Marxist view on youth,and further promotes the development of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In practice,Xi Jinping’s view on youth points out the way to help youth grow,provides scientific methodological guidance for further improving the work of the Communist Youth League,provides new ideas for strengthening ideological and political work in colleges and universities,and also provides new ideas for promoting the construction of a community of shared future for mankind.
