| Campus bullying is a heated topic getting a lot of social attention.In recent years,the management of campus bullying has been carried out in many places and some positive results have been achieved.However,bullying incidents still happen from time to time,which have a negative influence on the study and life of the victims,so we should not ignore the problem of campus bullying.At present,the main objects of the research on bullying are junior middle school,secondary vocational school and rural school,while there are only a few studies about the campus bullying in ordinary high school in urban area.Therefore,by knowing the present situation of bullying in S high school in S city as well as the prevention and treatment of bullying,this study explores the characteristics and influencing factors of campus bullying in urban high school,and puts forward the corresponding governance countermeasures,in order to protect students’ physical and mental health,making campus the safest and sunniest place,which is also the main aim of the research.Based on the public governance theory,this study investigates into the problem of campus bullying,with the example of S high school in S city.It adopts qualitative and quantitative research methods,mainly including the literature review,interview and questionnaire survey.Firstly,through reading a lot of literary data,this study combs and summarizes the previous research results of the predecessors,clarifying the concept,characteristics as well as causes of campus bullying and introducing the anti-bullying measures in different countries.Secondly,3 different outlines of case interview are designed.4 students,2 parents,2 teachers and 2 staff members of moral education department are selected for the interview,from which we can get intuitive feelings about the understanding of the concept of bullying,its influencing factors,measures and so on,and then the materials of the interview are collated and analyzed.Thirdly,according to the results of the interview,the research variables of the questionnaire are determined,the hypotheses are put forward,and 4 measurement scales including the school environment scale,the peer relationship scale,the family atmosphere scale and the bullying fact scale are compiled as research tools.Then questionnaire survey is conducted among 250 students in different grades of S high school in S city,using the method of stratified sampling.Then,SPSS 22.0 statistical software is used to analyze 241 valid questionnaire data,including reliability and validity test,descriptive statistical analysis,one-sample t test,independent sample t test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis and linear regression analysis,so the relationship between variables is explored and three research hypotheses are tested.Finally,the results of the investigation are summarized and targeted countermeasures as well as suggestions are put forward.The research concludes that:1.On the basis of the qualitative research,there is no bullying incidents that need to be filed and handled in S high school in S city,but there still exists the phenomenon of campus bullying.Campus bullying in high school is concealed.Common forms of bullying consist of verbal bullying,cyber bullying and relationship bullying.The causes of campus bullying are various.Three factors that have a relatively great impact include family,school and friends.What’s more,existing measures to prevent campus bullying have been accepted by most people,but there are also some deficiencies.2.On the basis of the quantitative research,the school environment of S high school is relatively good,the relationship among students is relatively harmonious and the students’ family atmosphere is also not bad,but there is a certain degree of the phenomenon of bullying.Grade has an important impact on the occurrence of bullying.Bullying occurs most in Senior 3 and least in Senior 1.Gender,preferred subject and score don’t have an important impact on the appearance of bullying,but scores differ in the dimensions of school environment and family atmosphere,and gender also has certain differences in forms of bullying.School environment,peer relationship and family atmosphere are all moderately negatively correlated with bullying facts.Based on the findings and conclusions of the investigation,this thesis puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: first,strengthen the cultivation of ideological awareness and guide the active participation of multiple subjects;second,implement multi-subject co-governance and build a network system of bullying governance;third,improve the linkage of the system and optimize the mechanism of bullying management.To draw a conclusion,this research studies the issue of campus bullying in the framework of public governance theory,which tries to provide a regional case study for this academic field and serves as a useful reference for the prevention and treatment of campus bullying. |
