The non-commissioned officer team is the main body of the generation and development of the military combat effectiveness.To carry out the investigation and research on the career management of non-commissioned officers is not only the need of the reform and development of the military,but also the objective requirement to thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping’s goal and strategic thought of strengthening the military and the development of national defense strategy.The key point of this paper is to analyze the current situation,existing problems,their causes and improvement measures of the career management of non-commissioned officers and the military organizations.As a part of the career of non-commissioned officers after retirement,including the employment training,job hunting and social career development process after retirement,the research scope of this paper is not yet.This paper is mainly divided into the following parts:First of all,a literature study on the career management of non-commissioned officers.Through the domestic and foreign non-commissioned officer career management related literature research,the problems existing in the non-commissioned officer career as well as the relevant experience,and determine the importance of the non-commissioned officer career management research and ideas.Secondly,research on the problems and causes of non-commissioned officer career management.Through the communication Corps of the Air Force under the PLA Northern Theater Command,Dalian Base,non-commissioned officer school,the first Training Brigade of Harbin Flight Academy,the first Brigade of Xi ’an Flight Academy and other units at and above the regiment level,we have obtained first-hand data through empirical research.In particular,in the past year,I made use of the resources of more than 300 non-commissioned officers in my school for upgrading training,organized questionnaires,discussions,exchanges and academic research activities,and summarized the status quo of non-commissioned officers’ career management in terms of posts,living benefits,future development,etc.Many problems were found,such as the negative attitude towards their own posts,serious anxiety about their future development,the lack of systematic training for key positions,and the difficulty in retaining outstanding talents.This paper summarizes the causes of the career management problems of non-commissioned officers.Finally,following the excellent experience of foreign army,some ideas are proposed to improve the career management of sergeants in our army.
