Marx And Engels’ Thoughts On The Relationship Between Globalization And Socialism

In recent years,with the rapid development of globalization,the relationship between countries and regions has reached an unprecedented breadth and depth,but the western capitalist powers have frequently raised anti globalization thoughts such as protectionism and populism.The new global epidemic in 2019 highlights the parallel existence of globalization and anti globalization.On the one hand,the capitalist developed countries,once the active promoters of globalization,ignore the common destiny of mankind and refuse international cooperation.On the other hand,China,as the largest socialist country and the largest developing country,is increasingly undertaking the active promoters of globalization And the role of leader.In the face of this phenomenon,we urgently need to explore the essence of globalization theoretically and clarify the internal relationship between globalization and socialism.In fact,Marx and Engels have made a comprehensive exposition of both globalization and socialism.Therefore,to go back to the Marxist classics and systematically sort out their discussions on the relationship between globalization and socialism will not only help us deeply grasp the essence and development direction of globalization,but also help us clarify this seemingly paradoxical phenomenon.This paper first combs the essence,formation and characteristics of globalization from the perspective of Marx and Engels;then summarizes the basic ideas about the relationship between globalization and socialism expounded by Marx and Engels with the establishment of historical materialism;and then analyzes the evolution process of Marx and Engels’ ideas about the relationship between globalization and socialism in different stages of globalization This paper focuses on the development of their thoughts on the relationship between globalization and socialism in their later years,and finally summarizes the fundamental views of Marx and Engels on the relationship between globalization and Socialism: globalization and socialism have inherent consistency,and combines the theory with practice to provide theoretical support for China to adhere to and lead globalization.
