Mechanism Innovation Of Expanding Citizens’ Orderly Political Participationin The New Media Era

Citizens’ political participation is the core of modern democracy.However,in the era of mass media,political elites and media organizations hold the right to speak,and citizens have limited opportunities to participate in politics through the media.With the rapid development of network technology,especially the emergence of new media,people’s way of life has changed,the traditional discourse right has been reconstructed,and ordinary citizens have gained more discourse right,thus stimulating the enthusiasm of citizens’ political participation.It is normal for citizens to express their opinions and reflect their personal interests through new media,and then influence government decision-making.Political participation with the help of new media has become an important form of citizens’ political participation.By studying the advantages,main characteristics,influencing factors and defects of citizens’ political participation in the new media era,combined with the in-depth analysis of the operation mechanism of "if I were a member" of the first network political new media platform in China,this paper puts forward the innovative path of expanding citizens’ Orderly Political participation in the new media era.It is found that the channels and forms of citizens’ political participation in the new media era are more diverse,and the influence on government decision-making is also increasing.However,new media political participation has obvious characteristics of disorder,imbalance,group polarization and excessive entertainment,which to a certain extent restricts the improvement of citizens’ political efficacy,even interferes with the normal political order of the country and affects social stability.How to turn new media,a variable of political participation in a country,into a positive energy to promote the process of political democratization is an era topic that must be answered“ If I am a member of the CPPCC,the platform can make virtual CPPCC members submit virtual proposals and interact with real CPPCC members in real time by creating a network community with democratic discourse and standardized procedures,so that virtual CPPCC members’ proposals can be transformed into real CPPCC proposals,so as to expand the orderly political participation of netizens,realize the closed-loop of online political discussion,and enhance the political identity of netizens,which is helpful to solidify the people’s mind and strengthen the social stability Gather public opinions and promote the construction of socialist democratic politics.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of citizens’ political participation in the new media environment,and analyzes the positioning and mechanism innovation of "if I were a member" platform,and puts forward the improvement strategies of expanding citizens’ Orderly Political Participation in the new media era,including promoting the construction of democratic political system to provide political guarantee for citizens’ political participation;strengthening the construction of the rule of law and industry self-discipline to provide political support for the public administration "The combination of soft and hard" should not only popularize new media technology and ensure the fairness of citizens’ political participation,but also strengthen the moral construction in cyberspace and improve citizens’ new media literacy.Only by integrating all social forces can we effectively expand citizens’ orderly political participation through new media,so as to effectively promote the process of national democratic politics.
