A Systematic Study Of Changzhou Earthquake Prevention And Disaster Mitigation From The Perspective Of Emergency Management Process

Seismic hazard is a huge risk and challenge that human society needs to face.It is also a difficult problem that our society need to solve.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,two earthquakes of magnitude 5 and above occurred in Changzhou,causing tremendous damage.With the development of economy and society and the improvement of living standards,people’s requirements for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction are also increasing.Thereby,it is of great significance to study the management of seismic hazard Changzhou.Cutting in from the perspective of the earthquake emergency management process,this article takes the research work of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in Changzhou as the research object.This article analyzed the risk of seismic hazard in Changzhou,present work of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction,main problems and causes.With reference to the practical experience of many earthquakeprone areas at home and abroad,this article put forward the improvement measures of earthquake disaster risk management in Changzhou.This article intends to provide reference for the earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation of Changzhou,enhance the ability of the region to deal with earthquake,and promote the healthy development of economy and society.First,using interview method and WSR theory,this article sorts out the physical,affair and human factors levels of earthquake disaster prevention,earthquake disaster monitoring,earthquake emergency response and post-disaster recovery in the current earthquake disaster management in Changzhou.It also summarizes the ideological concepts,institutional mechanisms,work funds that caused these problems.Secondly,in view of the problems that have arisen,combined with the actual experience of many earthquake-prone areas at home and abroad,this article puts forward more practical suggestions for improving the earthquake prevention system,improving the level of earthquake detection,enhancing emergency response capabilities and improving the efficiency of post-disaster recovery.Earthquake prevention and mitigation work is a social undertaking with a charitable nature.It is the common vision that improving emergency management of earthquake,minimizing the impact of earthquake disasters,ensuring the safety of public life and property,and promoting the economic and social development of Changzhou.
