Xi Jinping’s Important Discourse On The Great Struggle Of The New Era

Struggle refers to the attributes and trends of the relative exclusion and separation of the two sides,and is an important philosophical category of Marxism.Applying this concept to the field of social and historical development,struggle refers to the social practice of opposing exploitation and oppression,solving basic social contradictions and promoting the development of human society.As a main line,the struggle runs through the historical process of the whole human society,recalls the history of the struggle of the Communist Party of China in the past hundred years,and in different social and historical periods,the spirit of struggle has different connotations.In the revolutionary years,the spirit of struggle was the spirit of national independence and national liberation.During the period of socialist construction,the spirit of struggle was poor and strong,and it was brave to face the spirit of blockade and repression by capitalist power.Entering a new era,the spirit of struggle is the Communist Party of China’s long-standing primary mission,hard-fought professional skills and risk prevention of the bottom line thinking.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made many important statements on the spirit of struggle.At the training course for young cadres at the Central Party School on September 3,2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping made a profound analysis of the grim situation in which our Party is located and the task facing it.At the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee,General Secretary Xi Jinping once again stressed the need to carry forward the spirit of struggle and enhance the ability of struggle.This series of important discourses points out the way forward for Party members and cadres to carry forward the spirit of struggle and strengthen their ability to fight.This paper mainly studies from the four dimensions of Xi Jinping’s basic basis,historical process,main content and practical path of the great struggle in the new era,and analyzes in depth Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the great struggle of the new era.On the basis of accurately grasping the domestic and foreign environment in contemporary China and the new changes that have emerged within the Party,combined with the Marxist theory of struggle and the discourse of the leading leaders of the Communist Party of China on the great struggle,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the cadres,especially the young ones,should stand up to strict ideological hardening,political experience and practical exercise,carry forward the spirit of struggle,strengthen their ability to fight,and strive tenaciously for the realization of the "two hundred years" goal and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As an important part of Xi Jinping’s thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,Xi Jinping’s important exposition on the great struggle in the new era is the enrichment and development of Marxist struggle theory.Only by putting the important exposition of the great struggle in the original context can we fully and accurately understand it,truly understand its intention,accurately grasp the connotation of the times,the practical path and the practical significance of carrying forward the spirit of the struggle in the new era,and enable the broad masses of party members and cadres in the new era to shoulder their historical mission,overcome difficulties and strive to win the new victory of the great struggle in the new era.
