This study takes the Xiamen Six Villages in Kongtong District,Pingliang City as a field site,and makes use of sustainable livelihood theory to analyze the assistance of Lanzhou University in the Xiamen Six Villages in Kongtong District,Pingliang City.Firstly,we explored the current situation and reasons of poverty in the six villages;secondly,we explore the advantages and effects of assistance and the specific differences between assistance and poverty alleviation;furthermore,analysis the innovative assistance models;The main research methods used are fieldwork,literature research,interviews and quantitative research methods.After specific studies and analyses,it is concluded that university assistance is not an optional part of poverty alleviation,but an indispensable part,without which poverty alleviation work would not have achieved the present results and would not have been as deep and comprehensive as it is today;university assistance is also more fair,thorough and rigorous than poverty alleviation work in the broad sense;support staff are also more improved and deepened in their working methods.The helpers have improved and deepened the way they work,enhancing the capacity of village leaders to implement and make decisions;the helpers have also,in a subtle way,supervised the grassroots administrators;and under the helpers’ work,the identification of state power in the villages has been significantly deepened. |
