A Study On The Discipline Inspection Work And Historical Experience Of The Communist Party Of China(From 1949 To 1966)

The Party’s discipline inspection work refers to the examination,supervision,and inspection of compliance with the Party’s discipline of the Party’s organizations at all levels and all Party members.The Party’s disciplinary inspection work,on the one hand,is to inspect and deal with Party members and Party organizations which violate discipline,and implement Party discipline in order to safeguard the seriousness of Party discipline.On the other hand,it is to conduct propaganda and education on Party regulations and laws,Party spirits,and Party discipline,to improve the Party members’ ideological awareness,to strengthen the Party members’ sense of discipline,and prevent violations of discipline and damage to the Party,so as to ensure the centralization and unity of the Party,the purity of the Party organization,and the realization of the Party’s tasks in a certain period of time.Actively and effectively carrying out disciplinary inspection work is a key measure and an important guarantee for the Communist Party of China to maintain its advancement and purity and ensure the successful completion of central tasks in all periods.Therefore,after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Communist Party of China established a special internal party supervision agency to carry out the party’s disciplinary inspection work,and forged the party into a Marxist party with strict discipline,excellent style and deep public support,thus successfully ensuring the implementation of the Party’s lines,principles and policies.It provides a useful reference for carrying out the party’s discipline inspection work under the new situation of comprehensively governing the Party with strict discipline.Based on an analysis of the theoretical,historical and practical bases of the Party’s discipline inspection work from 1949 to 1966,this paper investigates the deployment and implementation of the discipline inspection work historically,and seeks to look at the reasons for the continuous adaptation of the discipline inspection work and its exposed shortcoming,objectively evaluates the positive effects and deviations of the Party’s disciplinary inspection work,and then refines the experience and lessons that can be used for reference.This paper mainly consists of the following four parts:The first part explains the theoretical,historical and realistic basis of the Party’s discipline inspection work from 1949 to 1966.The Party building thoughts of classic Marxist writers provide theoretical support,the practical exploration during the period of the new democratic revolution provides historical reference,and the complicated internal and external situations of the Party after ruling power put forward the realistic requirements.The second part investigates the deployment and implementation of the Party’s discipline inspection work.The Communist Party of China establishes special institutions to carry out disciplinary inspections;formulates rules and regulations to standardize disciplinary inspections;as well as combines with central tasks to carry out disciplinary inspections,which effectively complete the Party’s disciplinary inspections during this period.The third part evaluates the practical effects of the party’s discipline inspection work.The disciplinary inspection work from 1949 to 1966 effectively safeguards the Party’s discipline and purity,as well as consolidates the Party’s organization;corrects the work style and strengthens the Party spirit of the Party members;and reinforces the close contact between the Party with the masses and consolidates the Party’s ruling foundation.The fourth part distills the historical experience and lessons of the Party’s discipline inspection work.For carrying out the Party’s disciplinary inspection work,upholding the Party’s leadership is an important guarantee,the central task focusing on the Party is the inherent requirement,adhering to the mass line is a vital method,and cultivating a team of high-quality discipline inspection cadres is a crucial condition.
