Research On Agricultural Science Popularization In Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Border Region(1937-1945)

Before the CPC Central Committee arrived in Northern Shaanxi,the level of productivity in the border region was low,the way of farming was backward,the people were ignorant,and agricultural science knowledge was scarce.In order to get rid of the superstitious ideas of the people in the border region,vigorously improve the agricultural productivity and promote the development of agricultural economy in the border region,the government of the border region actively carried out various kinds of agricultural science popularization work,and tried every means to combine these science and technology with agricultural production,revitalize the agriculture in the border region,promote the increase of crop income,and provide material resources and human resources for the lasting Anti Japanese war.Taking the work of agricultural science popularization in Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region as the research object,this paper combs its specific contents and main ways,expounds the characteristics and historical achievements of agricultural science popularization,reveals the important role of the popularization and popularization of agricultural science and technology in rural economic construction at that time,and sums up the beneficial enlightenment for the work of agricultural science popularization in China today.This paper first analyzes the necessity and basic conditions of agricultural science popularization work in Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region,and explains the premise of agricultural science popularization work in the border region.Secondly,the contents of agricultural science popularization were systematically sorted out from four aspects:breeding and promotion of excellent crop varieties,prevention and control of crop diseases and insect pests and animal diseases,improvement of agricultural tools and farming technology,construction of water conservancy and agricultural environmental protection.Thirdly,it expounds the ways of agricultural science popularization in Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region,mainly through agricultural activities,written means,on-the-spot guidance and folk art.Finally,the characteristics,historical achievements and practical enlightenment of agricultural science popularization in border areas are summarized systematically.The work of agricultural science popularization in Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region has the characteristics of combining with the needs of the masses,combining with positive and negative models,and diversifying the contents and ways of science popularization.After many years of agricultural science popularization work in the border region of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia,it not only promoted the economic development of the border region,improved the social atmosphere of the border region,but also gradually made the agricultural production technology in the border region more scientific.The study of this problem also has some enlightenment for the work of agricultural science popularization in the new era,such as paying attention to giving full play to the specialty of agricultural science and technology talents,paying attention to the diversified construction of science popularization methods and the mass demand of science popularization content.On the one hand,it can systematically sort out the positive actions of the border region government in agricultural science popularization work,on the other hand,it can enrich the research content of the agricultural field in the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region.
