Research On Mao Zedong’s Cadre Education Thought

Mao Zedong’s thought on cadre education is a cadre education thought with Chinese characteristics formed by combining the Marxist theory of cadre education with the Party’s revolutionary practical experience during the long-term revolution and construction.In-depth study of Mao Zedong’s thought on cadre education,drawing historical inspiration on cadre education under the new ruling conditions and applying it to the practice of cadre education in the new era,is of great significance in strengthening the comprehensive development of Party cadres and the sustainable development of the cadre force,thus promoting the healthy development of the Party’s muscle.This paper will be discussed in the following three parts.The first part starts from the formation and development of Mao Zedong’s thought on cadre education and elaborates the theoretical sources of Mao Zedong’s thought on cadre education,mainly including the educational theories of Marx and Engels,Lenin’s thought on cadre education and the traditional Chinese culture’s view of talents.Under the correct understanding of the theoretical sources of Mao’s cadre education thought,the development course of Mao’s cadre education thought is summarized.The second part discusses the main contents and basic features of Mao Zedong’s cadre education thought.Mao Zedong’s cadre education thought emphasizes the priority of cadre education,emphasizes Marxist theory education,combines school education and on-the-job education,cultivates talented,red and professional cadres,and attaches importance to the education and management of party members and cadres.It is concluded that Mao Zedong’s cadre education thought has three characteristics: practicality,times and people.The third part explores the theoretical significance and revelation of Mao Zedong’s thought on cadre education.In terms of theoretical significance,Mao Zedong’s thought on cadre education not only inherits and develops the Marxist theory of cadre education,but also enriches and develops Mao Zedong’s thought and lays down the main framework of cadre education of the Communist Party of China.Under the new historical conditions,it is of great practical significance to study Mao Zedong’s thought of cadre education,to strengthen the self-construction of party members and cadres,to establish a clean and honest cadre force,and to innovate the work of cadre education.
