dissemination,and economic development.First of all,as a political project,red tourism covers party history education,revolutionary tradition education and patriotism education,which is conducive to enhancing people’s patriotism.Secondly,as a cultural project,red tourism contains rich cultural connotations,carries countless revolutionary historical and cultural resources and revolutionary spirit,and has important practical significance for promoting the core values ??of socialism,inheriting ancient Chinese moral thoughts and advanced socialist culture.Thirdly,as a project to benefit the people and to enrich the people,red tourism has the function of stimulating the economy and promoting development.And Enshi Prefecture,which is located in a concentrated and contiguous area with extreme poverty,has different types of red tourism resources such as revolutionary relics,revolutionary memorials,and tombstones of martyrs.The government of Enshi Prefecture has also taken many measures to effectively protect and rationally use these revolutionary historical and cultural resources.Since most of these red tourism resources are located in remote villages,presenting the characteristics of highly scattered and multi-faceted,the development of red tourism in Enshi Prefecture still faces the small influence of the red brand,the small market of red tourism tourists,and the innovative tourism products.Insufficiency and many other challenges.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to evaluate the impact and extent of the development of red tourism in Enshi Prefecture on the local society,politics,culture,economy and other aspects.Based on the above background,the core proposition of "how to evaluate the effect of red tourism development in Enshi Prefecture" is explored and answered around the research idea of ??"theoretical analysis-empirical research-optimization path".First,on the basis of combing the research results on red tourism effects at home and abroad,the definition of red tourism,tourism effects,tourism perception and other related concepts are defined,and sustainable development,stakeholders,endogenous growth,and comprehensive evaluation are defined.Based on the theoretical basis,combined with the situation analysis method,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the red tourism development in Enshi Prefecture are analyzed.Secondly,based on the above theoretical analysis,through interviews with experts and scholars in the tourism field and staff of red tourist attractions,an enshi prefecture with 28 specific indicators in three dimensions including social effects,political and cultural effects and economic effects of red tourism has been constructed.The red tourism development effect evaluation index system,and the use of analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of the evaluation index system,thus exploratory answer "how to construct the red tourism development effect evaluation index system in Enshi Prefecture".In addition,because the factors involved in the social and political and cultural effects of red tourism are more complex and difficult to products to highlight the effects of red education;and strengthen the promotion of red tourism And policy support,effective integration and development of scattered red resources,and strengthening of
