A Study On The Sino-myanmar Relations And The Changes Of Cantonese Associations In Myanmar After World War Ⅱ

There is a close relationship between Sino-Myanmar relations and change of overseas Chinese associations in Myanmar.When China-Myanmar relations are good,the political environment,economic opportunities and policy environment faced by the overseas Chinese and Chinese associations in Myanmar will be relatively loose,and their development will be relatively prosperous;otherwise,it will be relatively depressed.After World War II,the influence of Sino-Myanmar relations on the overseas Chinese and Cantonese associations in Myanmar was divided into three stages.In the early post-war period,the two countries established diplomatic relations rapidly,and the Cantonese associations heated up their friendship with the natives.Myanmar adopted a liberal Chinese policy.The economic activities,cultural and educational undertakings of overseas Cantonese associations in Myanmar were in full swing.After the normalization of relations between China and Myanmar,the overseas Chinese and Cantonese associations in Myanmar have regained their vitality and displayed good momentum in the spring breeze of reform and opening up.
