Research On The Exploration Of The Socialist Theory And Practice By The Swiss Labor Party

The Swiss Labor Party was established in October 1944,which is a communist party formed by the merger of the Swiss Communist Party and the Socialist Federation.It has been 66 years since the party was established.Although it was affected by the collapse of Soviet Union and Eastern Europe,the party still adheres to the guidance of Marxism-Leninism,safeguards the interest of the public,leads and unifies workers to fight against the capitalist rulings,and actively explores the theory and practice of national socialism for the realization of socialism.This essay takes the Swiss Labor Party as the research subject.Through literature review and historical analysis,it systematically studies the theory and practice explored by the Swiss Labor Party.Besides,it analyzes the current challenges and opportunities faced by the party based on specific national conditions of Swiss.Several main parts are as follows:The first part is about the development of the Swiss Labor Party,which can be divided into four periods:the period of inception,the period of rapid development,the period of steady development and the period of new exploration after the collapse of Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.The efforts made by the Labor Party for the exploration of socialism are also analyzed in this section.The second part illustrates the theories and ideas put forward by the Swiss Labor Party in the exploration of socialism:realizing socialism,the public idea of socialism,the theory of party building and the theory of new changes of capitalism.The third part elaborates the policy proposals put forward by the Labor Party in its socialist exploration,including various democratic policies on politics,economy,culture,society and ecology.The fourth part focuses on the practice of the Labor Party.It conducts parliamentary struggles,combats the new coronavirus pandemic,leads the labor movement and the feminist movement,and develops the youth communist.Besides,the party condemns the imperialist war of aggression internationally and participates in international conferences to strengthen international exchanges.The last part analyzes the opportunities and challenges confronting the Swiss Labor Party.Meanwhile,the enlightenment to the development of the Communist Party in capitalist country and the international communist movement is also elucidated.In the end,the whole passage is summarized systemically.Based on the characteristics of the development and specific domestic conditions,the Swiss Labor Party has actively explored socialism.It has made achievements both in theory and in practice,which is significant to the development of the Communist Parties in other capitalist countries as well as to the world socialist movement.However,given the current complex international and domestic situation,it is necessary for the Swiss Labor Party to spare much more efforts for the further development.
