The tourism industry has strong employment driving force and low employment threshold,and has strong inclusiveness to the employment of vulnerable groups,including women(the proportion of women in tourism employment is very high),young people and remote areas(these areas often have comparative competitive advantages in developing tourism).The vigorous development of rural tourism with local characteristics in Yanling County can not only provide a wide range of employment for rural women,but also directly or indirectly promote the local transfer and comprehensive development of rural women’s labor force.Paying attention to the employment of rural women in rural tourism is not only an important topic in rural tourism research,but also an important part of poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization.In the process of research,this paper adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and empirical research,and comprehensively uses the theory of social gender and labor transfer to select 379 rural women from Shennonggu village,Dayuan farm,Pingle village and lishuzhou village for questionnaire survey and interview.This paper analyzes the basic personal information,family situation and employment status of rural women in Yanling County,and selects variables from four dimensions of population characteristics,psychological factors,family structure and social environment,and analyzes the influencing factors of rural women’s employment from the perspective of employment.On this basis,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the employment of rural women in Yanling County.The results of the study found that:(1)Rural women in Yanling County experience the psychological journey of employment from the beginning of economic income-generating to self-improvement in the development of tourism.At the individual level,the employment characteristics of rural women in rural tourist areas in Yanling County are characterized by middle age,low education and complementarities of the opposite sex,and at the family structure level,the employment characteristics of rural women in rural tourist areas in Yanling County are characterized by sensitivity to family influence and the necessity of employment at low wage levels.(2)From the overall factors,the intensity of rural women’s employment factors in rural tourist areas in Yanling County is from the highest to the lowest,followed by psychological factors,personal characteristics,social environment,family structure.From a single-factor point of view,the first factors of rural women in rural tourism areas are government policy support and encouragement at the socio-environmental level;The third factor is the difference between employment demand and expected income in psychological factors.(3)In order to promote the employment of rural women in Yanling County,four suggestions for improvement are put forward:first,to promote employment through entrepreneurship and the development of industry-driven employment. |
