Investigation and research is the basic working method of the Party in the process of revolution and construction.As the epistemology and methodology of Marxism in China,it is the fine tradition and style of the Party.Mao Zedong has been insisting and advocating investigation and research all his life.In different historical stages,he has carried out a large number of investigation and research.On the one hand,he has carried out investigation and research work.On the other hand,he pays great attention to the summary and discussion of investigation and research theory.It is these research results that enable him to grasp the pulse of Chinese revolution and construction at all times,provide the basis for guiding Chinese revolution and construction practice,and formulate timely policies according to the needs of China’s actual development.Played an important or even decisive role.Today,Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought still has very important practical significance and practical value.Based on this,this paper combs and studies the forming foundation,forming process,main content,basic characteristics,historical contribution and contemporary value of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought.The thesis consists of four parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the research purpose,research significance,domestic and foreign research status,research methods and innovation of the paper.The second chapter mainly introduces the theoretical origin,practical basis and forming process of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought.The formation and development of any thought can not be separated from the inheritance and development of the previous theoretical achievements,and the same is true of Mao Zedong’s thought of investigation and research,on the basis of extensive absorption of the theoretical results of investigation and research,through their own personal practice,combined with the revolutionary construction and social development of our country,a relatively complete theoretical system of investigation and research has been formed.The third chapter mainly introduces the important contents and basic characteristics of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought.The main contents of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought will be summarized and discussed from five aspects: importance,purpose,attitude,object and method of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought,while the basic characteristics are discussed from four angles: the unity of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought with Marxist epistemology,mass line,Party’s ideological line and subject’s self-renewal.The fourth chapter is to explain the significance of Mao Zedong’s research thought from the aspects of historical contribution and contemporary value,the first half focuses on its historical contributions to the construction of Chinese revolution,the development of Marxism in China and Mao Zedong’s philosophy,the second part is the innovation and difficulty of this paper,it discusses the contemporary value of Mao Zedong’s investigation and research thought from five aspects: promoting the Party’s adherence to the Party,strengthening and improving the construction,carrying out the ideological line of seeking truth from facts,carrying out the mass line and understanding and solving various social problems at present.
