| Rural migrant daughter-in-law,as a special group of population,is the "product" of the times and social development.This paper from the perspective of marriage and family,the paper focuses on the special group-"foreign daughter-in-law"-in rural area.With the development of society and economy,rural "foreign daughter-in-law" expands the marriage circle under the objective condition of the advanced transportation,communications and so on.Such group migrates within and inter provinces,and is required to integrated into the husband’s family and community,affected by the patrilocal.However,the identity of "outlander" brings some difficulties to the integration.Social relations are the basis of the social life,favorable and stable social relation make social person adapt to new community quickly.Rural "foreign daughter-in-law" defines clearly,i.e.,in accordance with the marriage to take place within rural areas and with migration of permanent residence,rural women who require a long time to adapt to new community,because of the significant differences between the new and origin residence in culture and living habits.This study is based on the theory of female migration and social relations,and the data are obtained from the following three aspects:(1)The data came from the Chinese population census.Since the female marriage migration occurred in the 1980 s and 1990 s,the data of female migration from the 4th,5th and 6th census were used for analysis;(2)In this article,22 women who moved in because of interprovincial marriages,and 300 neighbors of interprovincial married women were randomly selected in the South of Shanxi to surver by questionnaire to collect data;(3)The data came from interviews.Semi-structured interviews were conducted with interprovincial marriage migrants to get an in-depth understanding of their living conditions,obtain rich case information and make up for the deficiencies in the questionnaire survey.Based on the data collection of SPSS,this paper analyzes the basic situation of rural "migrant women" through simple descriptive statistics and relevant test,shows the path of social relations construction of rural "migrant women" through social network diagram,and tests the stability of social relation of rural "migrant women" through SSRS.There are fewer samples due to the particularity of the respondents in this study,so the Cronbach’s a is used to test the reliability of the questionnaire.This paper will analyze from three aspects: the degree of desire for the new social relationship,the construction path of the new social relationship and the peculiarity of the new social relationship.It is found that there are four main ways to construct the new social relations of migrant wives in rural areas: one is the "structural hole" type with husbands as the center;The second is to rely on the construction of the community;The third is to establish the quasi-consanguinity groups based on similar experiences.The fourth is to reconstruct by means of karma.The new social relationships of migrant brides in rural areas mainly involve family,neighborhood and colleague relationships.The stability of migrant brides after their construction is quantified through social support,and it is found that once their new social relationships are established,they are relatively stable and not easily broken. |
