| The two-child policy is an important population policy formulated in our country in the context of an aging population;however,the introduction of the policy has also aroused social concerns about women’s employment.What is the employment situation of women under the two-child policy? Has employment discrimination increased? What are the problems? How to better promote female employment fairness? These are all topics worth studying.The thesis aims to study the employment situation of women under the two-child policy,analyze the policy’s impact on women’s employment,and propose countermeasures to resolve the predicament.It reviewed the domestic and foreign scholars’ relevant research on the impact of female employment discrimination and childbirth policies on women’s employment,combined with the relevant public management theories,carried out questionnaires and interviews on the actual employment situation of women in the labor market,and studied the effects of the twochild policy on women’s employment,so as to understand women’s demands in terms of employment and employers’ attitudes under the two-child policy.On this basis,it analyzed the new difficulties faced by women in employment under the two-child policy,and the underlying reasons behind the problem of women’s employment difficulties.The survey shows that the employment plight of women is particularly prominent after the introduction of the two-child policy.There are many reasons for the above phenomenon,including traditional culture and socio-economic reasons as well as the imperfect laws and regulations and the imperfect social security system.The thesis proposed that in order to guarantee and promote equal employment of both sexes under the two-child policy,it is necessary for the supervision departments,recruitment platforms,employers,female job seekers,news media and other parties to participate together to strengthen relevant legislation to combat employment discrimination and protect citizens’ employment rights,provide more reliable legal guarantees,strengthen public service policies to relieve women’s worries,and enhance the society’s awareness of fair employment to cultivate a good social environment. |
