Research On Ideological And Political Education Of Young Police Officers In The New Media Era

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)pointed out that the principal contradiction in Chinese society at present has been the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life,which shows that the people’s demands for democracy,the legal system,fairness,justice,security and the environment are increasingly strong.In the face of this new situation and new demand,the public security organs must stand in the new perspective of comprehensively promoting the rule of law,promoting the modernization of national governance system and governance ability,and have a deep understanding of the political responsibility undertaken by the public security organs and the great significance of strengthening the ideological and political education for this team.At the same time,the arrival of the era of new media also makes the way of information dissemination decentralized.The transmission of information not only breaks the limitation of time and space but also breaks the limitation of one-way transmission.This kind of interactive information transmission changes people’s life and also brings new opportunities for ideological and political education.At the same time,China is in a special period where social contradictions are increasingly prominent and interest conflicts are more complex than ever before.Therefore,young police officers are also facing a more complex law enforcement environment than ever before.Therefore,in the era of new media,improving the ideological and political education level of young police is of great significance to the construction of the police team.This study selected the representative group as the research object,the young police in Yulin city of Shaanxi province as an example,carding the definition of new media age and youth civilian police,establish the proposed the main characteristics of new media age young policeman,and the theory of youth learning and The theory of free and comprehensive development of man as a foundation,has been clear about the theory of youth learning and The theory of free and comprehensive development of man on the youth ideological and political education of the police.Through a questionnaire survey of young police officers in Yulin City,this study deeply understands the current situation of ideological and political education of young police officers in Yulin City through descriptive statistics.At the same time,through cross analysis,it finds that young police officers under 25 years old need to strengthen education on world outlook and outlook on life.Young police officers under 25 years old are more likely to participate in ideological and political education activities through new media platforms.Young police officers aged between 18 and 30 generally believe that units should organize recreational activities,while young police officers aged between 31 and 35 hope that units should organize practical activities such as visiting and learning.This study new media age youth ideological and political education work of the police to carry out the status quo as foothold,illustrates the new media era of the opportunities brought about by the ideological and political education,the young police discovered a new media age young policeman of the four dimensions of ideological and political education,and the forming causes of the problems from the perspective of internal and external causes for further analysis.Finally,on the basis of sorting out the problems found in the ideological and political education of young police officers at the present stage,this study puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from four dimensions respectively,which are as follows:(1)improve the media literacy of ideological and political educators and young police officers;(2)Establish and improve the coordination mechanism of ideological and political education supervision for young police;(3)Guide young police officers to sort out the correct work concept and service meaning;(4)Suggestions on the content of ideological and political education for young police officers;(5)Establish a top-down ideological and political management system for young police officers;(6)To create a good ideological and political education atmosphere for young police officers.To sum up,based on the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of the ideological and political education of young police in Yulin,this study objectively analyzes the current situation and problems of the ideological and political education of young police in Yulin,and puts forward some suggestions on the ideological and political education of the public security organs in Yulin,thus improving the level of their ideological and political education.
