The Negative Influence Of TV And Movies Media On The Youth's Ideological & Moral Education And Its Relevant Countermeasures

In modern society, TV and movies, as a social public service, undertake the responsibilities and obligations of enriching culture and serving public. It must promote the nation's and country's belief, pass down historical and cultural heritage, reflect the reality of social life, sparkplug scientific concepts and provide public entertainment programmes. However, in the process of China's reform and opening, the TV channels have increased, film and television' contents have varied, but in the meantime a large number of works' taste has become lower and various shallow and vulgar contents flood the screen. Young people who are in the growth and immature have wide interests, alive mind, great demand for information. However, for the lack of sufficient discern ability and self-control, young people are easier to get bad, fake, and adverse effects from television & movies media. In recent years, the general public opinion is that TV and movies media have an unshirkable responsibility for the precocity, consumerism, violence and values confusion of young people.
