Research On Marx And Engels’ Ideology Of National Governance

At the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,the overall goal of comprehensively deepening reform in China is to improve and develop the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and promote the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.This goal is proposed by our party based on the development of the times and the need to solve practical problems.From the standpoint of historical materialism and dialectics,Marx and Engels deeply analyzed the origin,essence and function of the state.They believed that social existence determines social consciousness.The essence of the state is a tool to realize class rule and class repression,and an organized force with political rule and social management functions.Our discussion on Marx and Engels’ thought of national governance can provide theoretical basis for China’s national governance practice,provide ideas and methods for dealing with and solving national social problems,and play an important guiding role in continuously promoting China’s national governance modernization.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into three parts to elaborate Marx and Engels’ thought of national governance.The first part mainly expounds the background and origin of the formation of Marx and Engels’ national governance thought.With the rapid development of machine industry,the basic contradictions of capitalist society are constantly moving and deepening,and the capitalist economic crisis breaks out frequently.Forced by their own survival difficulties,the proletariat put forward economic and political needs.Class consciousness is constantly awakening,and it is urgent for the theory to provide ideological guidance for its revolutionary practice.Marx and Engels comprehensively summarized the revolutionary experience and lessons,and put forward and gradually formed their national governance thought.Marx and Engels’ thought of state governance originates from the thought of "social contract theory" of British and French Enlightenment thinkers,the thought of German classical philosophers on state philosophy and the thought of utopian socialist thinkers on the construction of ideal society.The second part mainly expounds the basic content of Marx and Engels’ thought of national governance.In the context of historical materialism,Marx and Engels expounded the origin,essence and functions of the state.The state is produced in the process of social and historical development and evolution.The state is an organized force with political ruling and social management functions.The process of a country performing its functions is the process of realizing national governance.National governance also includes two aspects: political governance and social management,which are adjusted appropriately with the changes of social and historical conditions.The content of Marx and Engels’ national governance thought is mainly reflected in their deep criticism of capitalist national governance and their exploration and construction of socialist national governance.The third part mainly expounds the Contemporary Enlightenment of Marx and Engels’ national governance thought.Marx and Engels’ thought of national governance provides theoretical support and important guidance for further promoting the modernization of national governance.We should adhere to and consolidate the leading core position of the Communist Party of China,take the rule of law as an important support,take the system as a powerful guarantee,adhere to the dominant position of the people,and take the realization and maintenance of the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people as the goal,so as to promote the effective implementation of national governance and accelerate the modernization process of national governance.
