| In recent years, with the deepening of economic reform, the rapid promotion of China’s agricultural industrialization and the accelerating process of urbanization, the contradiction between land supply and demand with more people and less land has been further magnified.Combined with the historical reasons of the long-standing urban-rural dual system in China, the traditional rural agglomeration of production and lifestyle is facing great challenges.Agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, the "three rural" issues have always been an important issue of national concern.Focusing on the local government, how to improve the production and living standards of farmers is an important topic that has been widely mentioned, and has been widely concerned and studied by all walks of life. The work of concentrated residence of farmers in Sucheng district has always adhered to the guidance of planning, strengthened the measures of work, and orderly promoted the construction of new residential quarters. The work of centralized residence of farmers in the whole district has continuously achieved new results, and the living environment in rural areas has been significantly improved, which has become a model for the centralized housing work of farmers in Suqian City and even Jiangsu Province. However,in Sucheng District, there are still many difficulties in promoting the construction of farmers’ concentrated residence, which has brought many challenges to the work.Based on the theory and literature of farmers centralized residence, this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of farmers’centralized residence in Sucheng District, analyzes the problems existing in promoting the centralized residence of farmers, and based on the analysis of deep-seated reasons and the willingness and behavior of concentrated residence, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are given. In this study, three field surveys were designed to analyze the current situation and problems, satisfaction, willingness and behavior from three perspectives, namely, the grassroots managers of the farmers’ centralized housing work in Sucheng District, the farmers who have settled in the new concentrated residential area and the farmers in the traditional residential mode. The results show that:(1)Due to the demand of urbanization land and the development of agricultural industrialization, the towns and streets in Sucheng district actively promote the centralized living of farmers, and have achieved great results.Compared with the previous demolition(2)compensation policy and the construction of concentrated residential areas, the existing system can better meet the needs of farmers. The satisfaction of farmers who have achieved centralized residence is higher, and the willingness of farmers who have not achieved centralized residence to participate in centralized residence is also relatively strong.(2)In Sucheng District, the promotion of farmers’ concentrated residence is mainly government led,and the focus of the work is also on the construction of new type of farmers’concentrated residential area. The main problems in the promotion of centralized housing are backward concept, lack of overall planning, difficulty in land replacement, untimely funds in place and difficult negotiation of compensation agreement(3)Through the cross analysis of individual characteristics, family characteristics, psychological factors of farmers and the willingness to live in a centralized way,it is not difficult to find that gender and age stage have little influence on the centralized residence, while the education level has an obvious impact on the willingness to live in a centralized way.The respondents with family size are closely related to the willingness to live in a centralized way.The respondents who are satisfied with the public security situation of centralized residence, shopping convenience and medical convenience are also more willing to live together. |
