Employment of persons with mental disabilities during rehabilitation is the most direct and effective way to integrate and participate in social life.Employment not only improves the material and spiritual life of persons with mental disabilities and their families during rehabilitation,but also helps them gain a sense of value and self-identity in their work.And work is also considered to be an important method and means of rehabilitation treatment for the mentally disabled.In recent years,our Government has introduced and improved a series of initiatives to support and promote the employment of persons with mental disabilities,and the number of community-based mental rehabilitation institutions operating in various places has been increasing,providing rehabilitation,employment and community integration services for persons with mental disabilities.However,the current social competition is increasingly fierce,employment environment.It is also becoming more and more serious that people with mental disabilities face social exclusion and discrimination due to their physical or psychological shortcomings,which leads to their participation in employment remains a serious problem.The author takes the X institution in Kunming as an example,collects relevant data through observation,questionnaire survey,and interviews in the institution,explores the factors affecting the employment of mentally disabled persons from the macro,meso and micro levels,and analyzes the current status of employment support for mentally disabled persons And questions.Combined with the existing employment services of agency X and the self-care ability and degree of disability of mentally handicapped persons,a case study method was used to collect data through semi-structured interviews and participatory observation methods to assess the needs and problems of the clients and use cognitive behavior Theory and social support theory to correct the self-cognition deviation of the client;change the unreasonable perception of the client and his family;link the existing employment resources of the institution,improve the employment support of families,institutions and communities for the mentally handicapped,and use the advantages From the perspective,tap the potential and advantages of the client,give encouragement and affirmation to the clients in time,enhance their self-confidence,and promote the participation of mentally handicapped persons in recovery period.After the service intervention,the author also reflected on the service and proposed to strengthen the serviceintervention for the family,enhance institutional family cooperation,improve the quality of employment training for people with mental disabilities,strengthen the popularization and publicity of mental health education,build a sound Service recommendations for the employment support system for people with mental disabilities.
