Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the inspection work has been further advanced,with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core of the Party Central Committee attaches great importance to political inspection,with the determination and courage of the knife-edge inward to crack down on corruption within the Party,has achieved remarkable results over the past few years: a number of corrupt senior officials have stepped down,the party’s political ecology is cleaner,through inspection to find problems and urge Party organizations at all levels to carry out rectification,enhance the Party’s ability to self-monitor,self-repair,and promote the Party’s construction to create a good political environment.The study of the political inspection of the Communist Party of China since the 18 th National Congress is of great theoretical and practical significance for further strengthening the Party’s overall leadership and promoting the construction of the Party’s clean and honest government.This paper adheres to Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as a guide,using literature induction method,case analysis method and other research methods,combed the theoretical sources and realistic background of political inspection since the 18 th National Congress,summarized the main content and results of political inspection,analyzed the main problems and causes of the current political inspection,from the target requirements,inspection organization,rectification and implementation,the application of results,mechanism convergence of the five aspects of the future to deepen the path of political inspection.Since the 18 th National Congress,the Communist Party of China,on the basis of inheriting and developing the Marxist classic writers and the inner-Party supervision thoughts of the Communist Party of China in all generations,has drawn on and learned from the beneficial elements of the ancient Chinese inspection and supervision thought and the power restriction and supervision thought of western countries,faced with the need to improve the Party and state supervision system,coordinate the promotion of the "four comprehensive" strategic layout,and the need to strengthen the Party’s political construction and promote the fight against corruption.Political inspection to strengthen the Party’s leadership as the fundamental purpose of inspection,to party organizations at all levels as the main object of inspection,to "three major issues" as the focus of inspection content,to the Party Constitution and Party discipline as the inspection yard,and achieved remarkable results,namely: the Party’s leadership has been strengthened,the Party’s internal supervision mechanism has been continuously improved,corruption within the Party has been effectively curbed,the construction of various systems is increasingly standardized.At present,there are some problems such as the rectification of the political inspection problem of the party organization being inspected,the weak application of some political inspection results,and the strengthening of the construction of some political inspection team.The main reasons for these problems are the imperfect implementation mechanism of political inspection and rectification,the incomplete transformation mechanism of political inspection results,and the incomplete supporting mechanism of the construction of political inspection team.Based on the above-mentioned research,it is proposed to deepen the path exploration of political inspection: to clarify the requirements of the objectives of political inspection,to strengthen the implementation of political inspection and rectification,to improve the transformation and application of the results of political inspection,to strengthen the construction of the political inspection work team,to establish and improve the mechanism of convergence between political inspection and other supervision systems.
