Lenin’s Thought Of "Two Systems" Relationship And Its Chinese Significance

After the victory of the October revolution,the birth of the world’s first socialist country turned socialism from an ideal into a reality.How to deal with the relationship between Soviet Russia which is under the siege of capitalism and capitalist countries has become an urgent practical problem.Lenin was a pioneer in practice and a pioneer in theory.Based on the reality,he made a pioneering exploration of the struggle,coexistence between socialism and capitalism,and consolidated and promoted the socialist construction in Soviet Russia.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference and guidance for China in the process of reform and opening up and modernization.Lenin’s thought of "two systems" relationship has its theoretical basis.On the one hand,Marx and Engels provided the important guiding ideology to correctly understand and deal with the relationship between "society" and "capital" vertically.On the other hand,Lenin’s "one country victory theory" made theoretical preparation for dealing with the "two systems" relationship.Lenin’s thought of "two systems" relationship is not immutable.He flexibly adopted corresponding strategies to deal with the relationship between Soviet Russia and capitalist countries according to the background changes of European Revolution from high tide to low tide,western powers went from "strangling" Soviet Russia to "recognizing" it,the policy of transition to socialism went from war communism to the new economic policy.Based on reality,Lenin dialectically dealt with the relationship of "two systems".From 1917 to 1920,western countries "strangled" Russia and the European revolution came to a climax.Lenin hoped to "arouse the world revolution" in order to survive the Soviet regime and realize the new face of socialism.From 1921 to 1924,the European revolution entered the low tide,which aroused the loss of the objective situation of the world revolution.In addition,with the formation of the "balance of power" between Soviet Russia and western capitalist countries and the need of the economic development of both sides,peaceful coexistence gradually became the principle of the two sides.But Lenin also understood that under the condition of peaceful coexistence,the two sides were essentially still opposite,and under the condition of peaceful coexistence,they could not give up the struggle.During the new economic policy period,economic recovery and construction became the main task,and Lenin proposed to "use capitalism".He broke down "socialism" into a formula,clearly expressing that socialism contains the advanced civilization achievements of capitalism,but he also pointed out that the process of using capitalism should guard against the dangers it brings.Lenin’s thought on the relationship of "two systems" has its unique characteristics of thinking,which reflects the interweaving of socialist ideal and realistic socialism,insists on the unification of strategic flexibility and the firmness of principle,and insists on the unification of foreign policy and domestic policy.China has creatively applied and developed the positive part of Lenin’s thought of "two systems" relations,which is mainly manifested in the five principles of peaceful coexistence,the great decision-making of reform and opening up,the successful practice of "one country,two systems" and the proposal of the community of shared future for mankind.In the future,China still needs to learn from Lenin when dealing with the "two systems" relationship and even the relationship with all other countries.
