China's Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in CambodiaIn this my study about China's Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in Cambodia,I Focused on How China's Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence influent in Cambodia,Why it important?CHAPTER I:INTRoDUCTIoNIn this chapter I has present about the brief history of China's Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence this is an agreement between China and India when they had the territories dispute over Tibet.The Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence is an agreement between China and India over territorial dispute integrity that was found by Chinese Communist Party(CCP)in 1 949. It was proclaimed initiate in India during the Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai visited to India for negotiation over territorial dispute.The Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence adhere on mutual respect for each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty,mutual non—interference in each other's intemal affair,Equality and mutual benefit and Peaceful Coexistence.CHAPTER II:LITERATURE REVIEWThis chapter reviews the relevant literature related to China's Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in Cambodia and how Cambodia relationship with China on Five Principles. After Cambodia adopts Five Principles of Peaceful Coexi~ence,China has voiced its support for Cambodia in accession to WTO in 2004.China has supported for Cambodia development policies by providing economic assistance in order to decrease to poverty rate in Cambodia through infrastructure development such as building bridges,national roads,and dams,etc..In examining what International Relations scholars have to say about Sino.Cambodia relations,this chapter cites what benefits,Achievement,Challenges of China's Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in Cambodia.It has view the extermine of China economic growth influent in Cambodia. CHAPTER 111:THERITICAL FRAMEWORKIn this Chapter I has use the IR theories an aspect to explain that China's Five Principles ofPeaceful Coexistence in Cambodia through China economic influent to Cambodia.Soft Power theory is used to explain the acceptance of China and Cambodia on Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and how it has been able to explain how China's Five Principles endeared itself to Cambodia.Soft Power in Chinese foreign Policy is used to explain that how Soft Power of Chinese policy influent into Cambodia,what benefit of China and Cambodia after choose each other.CHAPTER IV:CHINA AND CAMBODIA RELATION BEFORE REFROMIn this Chapter I have presented about China relations with Cambodia during the Man Zedong era,during that time China and Cambodia relation focus on the ideology rather than the security but was changed after the meeting between Zhou Enlai and Norodom Sihanouk.In Mao's Era the relations between both countries based on Norodom Sihanouk and Premier Zhou Enlai.The relations between two countries were excellent t.11 China's secretly supporting the Khmer Rouge's insurgency was known by Prince Sihanouk.Since that time, Chinese government supported the Khmer Rouge led by Pol Pot,which is blamed for the deaths of more than a million Cambodians from 1975—1979,to fight against the US back—govemrnent led by General Lon N01.In 1 975,Khnler Rouge insurgency had overthrown the US back—government and seized Phnom Perth,the Capital of Canthodia.CHAPTER V:CHINA AND CAMBODIA RELATIoN AFTER REFORMIn this Chapter I had presented the relations of both countries in Deng's Era China has continued from Mao to helped Cambodia to run Peace process to exile Vietnam troops from Cambodia.China tried to cooperate with the international community to force Vietnamese ffoop out of Cambodia and to replace the old govermnent,which installed by Vietnam,by encouraging the new election campaign led by the United Nations in 1993.In Jiang's Era China was able to come back to Cambodia again,initially very discreetly,but since 1 997,in full force.In the mid一1997,it was a tense relationship between the two co—premiers which led to the violent eruption that ousted Prince Ranariddh out of the country.Reacting over the political violence in Cambodia,the international community had suspended almost all but humanitarian assistance to Cambodia and imposed economic sanctions against Cambodia, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN)denied Cambodian membership within the organization.However,China immediately recognized the result of the violent eruption,opposed the sanctions against Phnom Penh,and admonished Western countries not to interfere in Cambodia's internal affairs in order to seize opportunity to expand its influence in Cambodia—In Hu's Era Cambodia and China have been strengthening their relmions through~equent exchange visit of top leaders.The two countries have signed a treaty of comprehensive partnership in 2006.China is maintaining its influence in Cambodia through unconditional aid and investment.In response,Cambodia has satisfied China by adhering of One—China policy.They are cultivating each other.As they are diligently maintaining their relations,it is foreseeable that both countries will reach the comprehensive strategic partnership in the coming years.
