A Study On The "Correct Concept Of Justice And Interests" In Xi Jinping’s Diplomatic Thought

During his visit to Africa in March 2013,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed for the first time the value concept of "correct approach to justice and interests",that is,the principle of putting justice first,balancing justice and interests,and mutual benefit and win-win results should be adhered to in foreign exchanges.In his reports,speeches and articles on building a "community with a Shared future for mankind" and promoting the "One Belt And One Road" initiative,Xi Jinping has repeatedly referred to the "right approach to justice and interests"."Correct approach to justice and interests" has become a proper term in China’s diplomatic philosophy and practice,and is an important part of Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thought.Based on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches on "correct view of justice and interests",this paper summarizes the basic connotations of "justice" and "interests".The "righteousness" of the "right approach to justice and interests" is mainly embodied in upholding faith,valuing friendship,promoting justice and establishing morality.The "right view of justice and interests" is mainly embodied in the moral view and responsibility view of combining justice and interests and enriching justice and interests.Adhere to the concept of power and order of justice and equality;Adhere to the concept of cooperation and development of mutual benefit and common development.This study adheres to the Standpoint and viewpoint of Marxism and USES literature research,case study,historical analysis and other methods to explain the "correct view of justice and interests" in Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thoughts from five aspects:In the introduction part,the origin of the topic and the significance of the research are explained firstly,and the relevant research results at home and abroad are summarized,and the basic ideas followed in the research,the main research methods adopted,the innovation points and key difficulties of the research as well as the shortcomings of this research are interpreted accordingly.In the theoretical overview,it mainly analyzes the historical background and theoretical source of The "correct view of justice and interests" in Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thoughts.First,in terms of time background,from the world today is in the changing from the "one hundred",the international community to entire China in developing countries make the international background of "new colonialism","right ’view" put forward with the combination of China’s domestic background,analyzes Xi Jinping,keep up with the development of The Times "right’ view" is put forward.Secondly,in terms of theoretical sources,respectively from the combination of Chinese excellent traditional culture of learning and development,to enrich and develop Marxist thought of righteousness and,on the inheritance and development of generations of leaders’ view of the communist party of China,the critique of science and absorption of western concept four aspects to analysis and summarizes the Jinping diplomatic thoughts of the theory basis of the formation of "combination" right.In the main part of the article,firstly,the connotation and dialectical relationship of "righteousness" and "interest" of "right view of justice and interests" are elaborated.Secondly,it focuses on the analysis of the basic features contained in the "right approach to justice and interests",namely,the dialectical unity of adhering to the path of peaceful development and safeguarding the national core interests,the dialectical unity of achieving common prosperity and seeking its own development,and the dialectical unity of practicing international morality and realizing its own interests.In the specific practice of "correct view of justice and interests",Chi na’s diplomatic practice towards African countries is taken as an example to illustrate how China adheres to the value concept of "correct view of justice and interests".First of all,the history of China-Africa cooperation since the founding of the People’s Republic of China has been reviewed: The stage of China’s support to African countries for national self-improvement(1950-1978),the stage of Equality,mutual benefit and common development between China and African countries(1978-2012),and the stage of China-Africa Community with a Shared future(2012-present).Secondly,this paper expounds China’s practice of upholding justice and pursuing interests in Africa since the 18 th CPC National Congress from the perspectives of politics,economy,culture a nd security.Finally,the paper summarizes the impact of China’s adherence to the right approach to justice and interests on China-Africa cooperation.Finally,the theoretical value and practical significance of "correct view of justice and interests" are expounded.Firstly,it analyzes the theoretical value of "correct view of justice and interests" from three aspects: carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture concept of justice and interests,enriching and developing The Marxist theory of international relations,and enriching and developing China’s diplomatic values.Secondly,the realistic significance of the "right approach to justice and interests" in Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thought is summarized from four aspects.First,the author refuted the erroneous argument of slandering China and established the image of China as a responsible major country.Second,we need to emphasize China’s identity and position and deepen relations with developing and neighboring countries.Third,we need to advance the Belt and Road Initiative to enrich and implement the vision of a community with a Shared future for mankind.Fourth,we should correct the western diplomatic concept of realism and promote the establishment of a just and reasonable new international order.
