Study On The Difficulties And Countermeasures Of Internet Charity Development In China

In recent years,the rapid development of Internet information technology,the rapid growth of the number of Internet users in China,and the emergence of new Internet applications.With the widespread spread of the "Internet + Charity" concept,more and more people participate in public welfare activities through microblogs,forums,online stores and other online platforms.A new kind of charity model-Internet charity came into being.With the inherent advantages of Internet openness,connectivity and immediacy,online philanthropy breaks the time and space constraints,makes up for the deficiencies of the past offline charity,and injects new vitality into charity,and is becoming a fast-growing charity.New channel.However,as a new thing,there are inevitably some problems worthy of discussion and even urgent solutions in the development of Internet philanthropy.The occurrence of fraudulent donations and fraudulent donations in the "Roll Incident" in 2016 and the "One Day Birthday" prevailing in 2017 reflects the lag in the construction of charitable organizations,external supervision,and information disclosure in the process of Internet charity development.This has serious adverse effects on the construction of Internet charity credibility.Based on this,this paper analyzes the current situation and operation mode of network philanthropy,and analyzes the dilemma and its causes in the development of Internet philanthropy.Secondly,drawing on the excellent experience in the development of Internet philanthropy between the United Kingdom and the United States,combined with China’s specific national conditions,we will explore effective countermeasures to solve China’s Internet philanthropy,with a view to promoting professional,standardized,healthy and sustainable development of Internet philanthropy in China.The dilemmas faced by Internet philanthropy in China mainly include: internalconstruction level,imperfect construction of charitable organizations,irregular management of fundraising platforms,and opaque information on charitable fundraising;external supervision,including imperfect laws and regulations,incomplete supervision mechanisms,and inadequate evaluation systems The social and environmental level is mainly due to the backwardness of the concept of public welfare culture and the backwardness of civil society construction.In response to the above problems,combined with the Internet philanthropy development and supervision experience of the United Kingdom and the United States,the corresponding countermeasures are proposed: standardize the internal construction level,including improving the professional level of charitable organizations,strengthening the standardized management of fundraising platforms,and improving the disclosure mechanism of charitable information;The level includes improving relevant laws and regulations,establishing a complete system for coordinated supervision of multiple subjects,and improving the evaluation system for charities.Optimizing the development environment mainly aims at cultivating and disseminating modern philanthropy concepts and enhancing social identity and trust in online philanthropy.
