Public credibility is the foundation of the Red Cross to maintain its vitality.The daily business of the Red Cross needs to be established on the basis of good public credibility.The Chinese Red Cross attaches great importance to the credibility building of the Red Cross.The construction of credibility has different characteristics in different periods,and it is mainly divided into four stages.During the exploration phase,the Red Cross has deficiencies in the construction of rules and regulations and the management of funds.During the independent exploration phase,the management tended to be standardized.With the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War,the Red Cross focused its efforts on organizing battlefield rescue.After the victory of the Second Sino-Japanese War,the credibility of the Red Cross Society entered a transformation stage.The Chinese Red Cross started from four aspects:improving the business ability of the Red Cross,focusing on open and transparent information,improving the supervision mechanism,and establishing a good image.The Chinese Red Cross has achieved good results in its credibility building,which is reflected in the support of the Red Cross Society from all walks of life.However,there are also shortcomings in the credibility building of the Red Cross.In general,by examining the status of the credibility building of the Chinese Red Cross in the historical period,its successes and deficiencies are worth learning from today’s Red Cross credibility building. |
