Study On The Connotation And Boundary Of Cyber Patriotism

As a new type of online hotspot event,the patriotic hotspot event has triggered large-scale discussions and offline actions.The special peer-to-peer relationship in the cyber society has enabled the grassroots to express their opinions on various events.The network society includes the official utterance subject,opinion leader utterance subject and folk utterance subject.The views of the three utterance subjects on the online patriotic hot event collide with each other.During the interaction,they will break away from the actual situation and enter a state of high understanding and solidarity.A new kind of ideology,Internet patriotism,is often born.In this context,the word "network" is no longer a well-known meaning such as educational position,educational carrier,or educational means.In other words,cyber patriotism is not equal to "cyber + patriotism".It is not the popularization and penetration of traditional patriotism in cyberspace from top to bottom.It is that different subjects interact with each other in the cyberspace to form consensus through specific events.Constructed,the emergence of online patriotism is a bottom-up construction process.In this study,the Diaoyu Island incident in 2012,the Sad incident in 2017 and the Dujiabanna insulting incident in 2018 were taken as the research objects.Using case study method and discourse analysis method,we collected samples of three specific events on the Weibo network,and tried to pass The analysis of online discourse,including the manifestation of patriotic emotions and behaviors,extracts the connotation of online patriotism,and finds the boundary of online patriotism through the transboundary performance of certain discourses of the three events.According to the analysis of discourse samples,the author found that in specific incidents,the three major subjects of discourse completed the construction of online patriotism from their respective positions.The behavior and emotion of the three in specific incidents are exactly what online patriotism manifests.Specific performance.First of all,the behavior of online patriotism is mainly divided into online behavior and offline behavior.The three main discourse subjects are from online news statements,emotional expression and emotional catastrophe to offline demonstrations and other patriotic actions.In terms of patriotic interpretation.Secondly,the emotional manifestations of online patriotism are mainly divided into three categories: positive emotions,neutral emotions and negative emotions.Cyber patriotism constructed by the subject of folk discourse is a factor that has national identity,transmission of Chinese symbols,sense of ownership,and unanimous externality.Cyber patriotism constructed by the subject of opinion leaders ’discourse is clear-cut,influential,rational,and official The network patriotism constructed by the discourse subject is upward and high-profile patriotism.Cyber patriotism has the characteristics of immediacy,appearance,emotion,coexistence of reason and emotion,and bottom-up.From the point of view of behavior,the patriotism of cyberspace should first be within the range allowed by law,and should not cause obvious economic losses and casualties;from an emotional point of view,it should be controlled within the range of positive and neutral emotions;From the point of view,patriotism should be the core,with the connotation of network patriotism.Finally,by comparing the performance of official discourse subjects of specific online patriotic hotspot events,the author concludes that the timing of intervention is an important factor for effective online patriotism guidance.A long-term guidance mechanism should be established,and relevant methods should be used to cultivate the media literacy of netizens.
