Research On Urban Group Event Management Based On Government Crisis Management

With the advancement of urbanization,the improvement of socialist market economy system as well as the continuous efforts in other reforms,our society and the economic construction are undergoing a profound and large-scale transformation.The changes of interest-conflicted parties and the enhancement of people’s concept in power and civil rights protection have brought about a maturing democratic legislative system and,however,revealed various social conflicts,which can be seen,especially in recent years,in the rising percentage of mass disturbance in all public emergencies,with more controversial influence and more people involved.This has something to do with the level of regional economic development.Urban mass disturbance will have a relatively huge impact on the city and its economy,leading to the instability of economy as well as the well-being of its citizens and,most of all,a negative effect on our efforts in building a socialist harmonious society.This thesis,based on the former researches,will discuss the causes and status quo of current mass disturbance,also how the government is handling these events.By analyzing a series of examples from Xinyijia,this thesis offers optimized strategies in dealing with crisis management of the government.There are 3 parts in this thesis:1.Introduction to the causes and status quo of the aforementioned urban mass disturbance,and the government’s current effort in crisis management2.Description and analysis of the causes of the Xinyijia series events,using the theoretical model in the phrase of emergency management as theoretical basis.3.Strategies that can be used for the government to optimize the preparation,prevention,response and management of mass disturbance as well as the restoration afterwards,in the purpose of reducing the number of the disturbance.This thesis analyzes the causes and the pattern of emergent mass disturbance from an angle of the emergency management phrase theory,then propose strategies to optimize and improve the measures for the government to have a better crisis management,in the hope of enhancing the understanding,administration and prevention of said events,and creating a more stable society.
