The Theoretical Exploration And Definite Practice Of Vietnam’s Nation Building Since Independence

On September 2,1945,Ho chi minh declared the establishment of the democratic republic of Vietnam in Hanoi,the nation building entered a new stage.However,France and the United States successively intervened into the Indo-china region.Vietnam simultaneously launched the war of resistance against France and the United States,and finally unified the north and south,realizing the establishment of the nation building.At the same time,Vietnam also launched nation building in the political,economic,military and cultural fields,and initially established the framework of the nation building.After reunification,Vietnam continued to promote domestic political,economic and cultural construction,thus supplemented the nation building theory and deepened the content of nation building.But in the bipolar structure of the international background,Vietnam’s nation building blindly followed the example of the Soviet union’s political and economic development,national political development lag behind,a crisis in national economy happened.At the same time,in the development of nationalism,Vietnam sent troops to Cambodia and would to establish the Indochina federation,the nation building showed an expansion.Since the sixth national congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam,innovation and open exploration was set,thus the construction of nation building was almost perfect both in theory and practice.Based on the different historical periods of Vietnam’s nation building,this paper divides the process of nation building in Vietnam into three stages.The first stage was from 1945 to 1975,after Vietnam’s independence and before the reunification of Vietnam.In this stage,Vietnam has realized the establishment and unification of the nation building and completed the preliminary construction of nation building.The second stage is from 1976 to 1985,in this stage Vietnam has achieved reunification and made further advance of nation building,but there were also the mistakes theory and failure practice.The third stage is since 1986,in the stage Vietnam implemented open innovation,promoted the Vietnam’s political democratization process,developed the national socialist orientation type of market economy,the nation building obtained the sublimation.First three chapter of this article discussed respectively each stage of the political,economic,military,culture and various aspects of the theoretical exploration and practice,at the same time in the last chapter,the characters,experiences and lessons of Vietnam’s nation building were discussed,and pointed out the thinking of the nation building of Vietnam and the suggestion on Chinese-Vietnam relationship.Due to the different historical background and national conditions,the nation building of Vietnam has achieved different goals and showed different characteristics in different stages.Since the early times of independence,Vietnam were in the war,the theory of the nation building was built to serve the needs of war and was more fragmented;The practice of nation building is also in the primary stage and focuses on military and national defense construction.After reunification,on the side of the socialist camp in the bipolar pattern,Vietnam urgently needs to build national politics and develop the economy.The theory and concrete practice of nation building are highly similar to the Soviet model.Since the innovation,in the background of globalization and the internal and external crisis,Vietnam began to put forward the theory of nation building systematically,and has carried out the practice of matching with it.At this time,Vietnam has begun to systematically state the theories of the nation building,and has developed a very targeted and planned practice,which is basically done by the nation building.Hence,the nation building mission is almost done.
