Xi Jinping in February 17,2014,the seminar for main leading cadres at the provincial or ministerial level to study and implement the third plenary session of the eighteenth spirit pointed out: "We should foster and carry forward the socialist core values and speed up the construction of the value system which fully reflect the Chinese characteristics,national features and time traits." Chinese characteristics,national features and time traits of socialist core values are the intrinsic quality of socialist core values and they are also our in-depth understanding of socialist core values of the unique perspective.Refers to the Chinese characteristics,the socialist core values is "formed in China and developed on the Chinese earth" values,it is firstly China’s values,and it accord with China’s national conditions with the values of China.The Unique cultural tradition,the unique historical destiny of and the unique basic national condition are the theoretical foundations of socialist core values.The national features of socialist core values embodied in the inheritance and development of Chinese excellent traditional cultures,embodied in the consistency of socialist core values and the Chinese traditional moral political values,embodied in the coherence of construction of socialist core values and "Ideological and ethical philosophy".We should pay attention to the socialist core values from the perspective of national cultures.The time traits of socialist core values means that we cannot cut off socialist core values’ contact with previous values,we must develop it constantly.On the one hand,the socialist core values has the close relation between the values of different historical periods in China,the socialist core values is developed on the basis of China’s previous values.To give the socialist core values,on the other hand,the new times connotation,it must be good at absorbing nutrients,from the pluralistic social values and values of other cultures to maintain the vitality of socialist core values.
