Guizhou Nuo Mask Research On Digital Image Design

Nuo originated in the sacrificial culture of ancient times.After years of baptism,Nuo gradually evolved into Nuo opera and Nuo dance.It is active in areas where ethnic minorities live in areas such as Guizhou.Nuo noodles,as the external manifestation of Nuo culture,is not only a carrier of local folk culture,but also reflects the aesthetic wisdom of ethnic minority folk crafts due to its unique shape.It is an important intangible cultural heritage.With the country’s attention to intangible cultural heritage in recent years,the protection and inheritance of traditional culture has become the focus of scholars’ research.With the rapid development of multiple digital media,digital technology provides a new way for the inheritance,protection and innovation of traditional culture.Based on the digital technology in the context of digital media and Guizhou Nuo culture as the research background,this paper deeply studies the types,characteristics and cultural connotation of Guizhou Nuo opera masks,and explores the similarities and differences.From the perspective of artistic design,it classifies and summarizes the color art,plastic art,and graphic pattern characteristics of Nuo opera masks,and explores the internal connection between traditional art culture and modern art.The original mask image is extracted,deconstructed and reconstructed with contemporary design concepts.Furthermore,through the language of digital image art,the nuo face art is integrated into the digital media image art.The main content of digital image interpretation is divided into three parts: "opening the altar","opening the play",and "closing the altar to send the gods" according to the flow of the Nuo opera performance.It is displayed with a design method combining abstract graphics and concrete graphics.The changes of Nuo face during the entire Nuo opera performance,combined with the movements of Nuo dance and the lyrics of Nuo opera,make the entire image more colorful in terms of audiovisual and painting content.In this way,it brings out the mysterious atmosphere of the Nuo face and enhances the immersive experience of watching movies.This article explores the new form of Nuo noodles deduced by digital imaging in terms of form and content,and provides new ideas for reproducing Nuo noodles.It is of great significance to protect local history and culture,highlight the characteristics of local Nuo culture,and seek a new way of inheriting Nuo culture in a digital context.At the same time,it has certain reference and reference value for the protection and inheritance of similar cultural heritage.
