This paper chooses the analysis of watermarking woodcut creation as the thesis theme and research direction,watermarking woodcut is a kind of creative expression form of watermarking,has a very unique artistic expression.Watermarking woodcut prints not only contain the characteristics of watermarking prints,but also have special characteristics of watermarking methods.Chen Qi said in his book "Knife Carving Holy Hand and Painting Master" : "Chinese watermarking is an important subject worth studying.On the one hand,Chinese watermark print can be said to be the origin of the world print,is an ancient type of print.On the other hand,it is a type with special vitality significance in the creation of modern Chinese prints,presenting many works with vitality in the creation of modern Chinese prints".From the beginning of the new woodcut movement to today,watermarking has developed into a special art form bearing the emotional thoughts and aesthetic taste of artists,which shows the trend of both traditional and integrated development.Printmaking is painted in the way of printing,which can be perfectly reflected in the printmaking works created by means of watermarking woodcut.Because it is easier to adjust and modify on the same piece of wood,the watermarking creation is more directly expressive to a certain extent.The series of graduation works "Obdurate" are created based on this creation concept.I have put my understanding of watermarking reduction throughout the whole process of creation,emphasizing the in-depth experience of watermarking reduction creation and exploration of artistic language.The works are full of my experience of watermarking reduction and artistic perception.This paper expounds his own thoughts and opinions on artistic creation in the process of creating the watermarking series "Stubborn".By analyzing and studying the works created by domestic artists using watermarking woodcuts,this paper summarizes the artistic characteristics of their prints,explores their experience in watermarking woodcuts,and analyzes the artistic expression forms of their works,hoping to get inspiration for personal creation thinking.In my reduction watermarking woodcut creation,I have always been looking for my own expression language,exploring my expression means and the artistic quality of pictures.
