Splash-color landscape painting is a new type of painting that has emerged in the development of traditional Chinese landscape painting in modern times.It has enriched and innovated the expression style,while continuing the original historical and cultural heritage.As one of the great masters of modern Chinese painting,Zhang Daqian has a deep understanding of traditional Chinese aesthetics.He used the combination of Chinese and Western cultures to create a unique style of splashing color,and then developed the Chinese landscape painting system,broadened the expression methods of Chinese painting,and innovated the artistic style of Chinese painting.Through the study of Zhang Daqian’s splash color works,starting from the development and formation,concept and characteristics of Zhang Daqian’s splash color painting,this paper analyzes the relationship between Zhang Daqian’s splash color landscape painting and fashion design,as well as the background factors of splash color painting in fashion design development,The connotation of splash-color landscape painting is blended with its novel color and ink,and the creative technique of color floating in ink is applied and displayed through clothing design.Therefore,Zhang Daqian’s exquisite painting skills and his unique aesthetic concepts are transformed into clothing through design methods,so that it conforms to the contemporary aesthetics and is recognized by the audience.Through the collection of cases,this paper studies the application of pleating,hand-painted,dye dyeing,digital spray painting and fabric transformation in landscape painting in clothing,and then summarizes the visual expression forms of splash color landscape painting applied to different style parts,fabrics and colors.This paper summarizes the expression forms and methods of pattern,color and composition of splash color landscape painting represented by Zhang Daqian in fashion design.The splash color elements used in the clothing design not only maintain the original cultural and aesthetic meaning,but also can be perfectly integrated with the personalized and changeable clothing design,giving the wearer a subtle and unique charm.
