Research On The Expression Of Decorative Painting Language In New Meticulous Figure Painting

Chinese painting has a long history of development,from the pottery decorations of the Neolithic period,to the silk paintings of the Warring States period,the paintings of court ladies of the Tang dynasty,the ink scrolls of the Five Dynasties,the lines of the ’Ulva strips’ of the Song dynasty,and the emergence of the frescoes of the Yongle Palace,each era of decorative painting has recorded the gradual enrichment and prosperity of Chinese brush painting.Since the 20 th century,as Chinese and Western cultures have continued to exchange and merge,Chinese painting has taken on a new era of painting.As a distinctive vehicle of traditional Chinese painting,the painting of figures reflects the social life and humanities of a certain period,and is highly contemporary in nature,with the main focus on conceptual expression.In the contemporary context,painters of the figure actively explore and seek new breakthroughs,especially in the language of decorative painting,which is increasingly subjective.On the basis of inheriting the traditional essence,they express the painter’s inner emotions,making the decorative nature of the new brush figure painting more imaginative,diversified and poetic.Through the study and analysis of the decorative painting language in New Worker’s Brush Figure Painting,this thesis explores the use of decoration in painting from different aspects,in order to interpret the expression of the painter’s thoughts and emotions in New Worker’s Brush Figure Painting and to analyse the unique and innovative aspects of the decorative language in New Worker’s Brush Painting.By drawing on the expression of ideas and techniques in New Brush Figure Painting,and based on the creation process of the author’s graduation work,February 2-Dragon’s Head,the artist explores in greater depth the expression of decorative and emotional language in New Brush Figure Painting from five aspects: composition,shape,line,colour and the decorative nature of materials,thus revealing the development of decorative painting language in New Brush Figure Painting.New brushwork figure painting is based on traditional figure painting,connected to contemporary art culture and aesthetic concepts,and focuses on the beauty of the decorative painting elements in new brushwork figure painting,which is a new force in Chinese painting today and has an important heritage and developmental significance.
