Vocal Interpretation Of Vocal Music Works With The Theme Of "Love" ——Taking Two Vocal Works In The Solo Vocal Concert As Examples

"Love",a pure and sincere emotion,has been an longstanding theme explored by a variety forms of arts.With the development of vocal music in China emerged countless vocal works resonating with the theme of "love".Singers admire and convey love in the form of vocal art.This paper analyzes two vocal works,"Love in the Eyes" and "Wait for Me,My Love",as the research object,and interprets them in three chapters:the first chapter briefly introduces the songwriters as well as the background of the two vocal music works;the second analyzes the works from two aspects: the content of lyrics and the characteristics of melody,strengthening the understanding of the works,and further exploring the theme of "love" in the works;the third chapter,based on the author’s singing experience in the vocal concert,interprets the song from two aspects: the treatment of emotions and techniques;the stage performance and cooperation with the partner.This paper mainly employs the music theoretical knowledge and singing practice in the detailed discussion of the two works.It is hoped that this paper deepens the understanding of the two vocal works,the perception of their connotation and artistry,so as to help develop the singing skills and aesthetic judgement,and provide theoretical reference values for other singers of the two vocal works.
