In the era of Industry 4.0,it is necessary to have various capabilities to cope with the rapid changes of the times.Creativity can empower design innovation,and design innovation can drive the development of the times.Faced with the current shortage of innovation ability and talent training,appropriate theories are needed to improve the innovation and creativity of design students.This research attempts to take design majors as the object of investigation,deeply explore the relationship between their creativity-related influencing factors and design ability,and then puts forward strategic suggestions and design innovative learning platforms for design majors’ creativity cultivation.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)Summarize and sort out relevant research results and current situation at home and abroad,and put forward the influencing factors of design students’ professional ability and creativity;(2)Define the relevant concepts of the research object and propose a theoretical framework and research hypotheses;(3)conduct surveys according to research hypotheses,collect and analyze survey data,and verify hypotheses and theoretical frameworks through descriptive statistics,principal component analysis and multiple regression analysis;(4)puts forward strategic suggestions;(5)Design and verify an innovative learning platform for design students according to the creativity improvement strategy.In the part of theoretical analysis,the three aspects of design professional ability training,creativity concept and creativity education are sorted out and analyzed,and the research status and problems related to creativity in design professional education are explored.Based on design education and creativity-related theories,the theoretical framework of creative learning environment,innovative thinking and design ability for design students is constructed,and research hypotheses are put forward.In the part of empirical investigation and research,241 design majors were surveyed on the perception questionnaire of creative learning environment,the questionnaire of innovative thinking and the questionnaire of design ability.SPSS 25.0 was used to explore the relationship between control variables and various factors by multivariate analysis of variance,and the research hypotheses were verified in regression analysis.According to the problems and conclusions found in the research results,combined with the analysis and summary of relevant literature,the learning environment that supports the creativity of design majors is derived from the learning physical environment,social atmosphere and learning tasks focused on the creative learning environment theory.In the design practice part,an innovative learning platform for design students-Creation APP is designed.The final design results are presented through functional module analysis,and interaction design,a questionnaire survey was conducted on design students to verify the requirements of related functions,and the heuristic evaluation tested the usability of the APP.27 usability problems were found,and design optimization iterations were carried out accordingly.
