| The 1950 s was an obvious watershed for the narrative of time and space.Before that,time was the main axis of narrative,and space only existed as a foil.“Spatial turn”has become an important ideological change in Western philosophy,sociology and other fields,subverting the inherent ideological cognition and opposing the absolute superiority of time,with the research of Lefebvre,Foucault and other scholars.At this point,time is no longer the only measure of reference,and space-oriented research has been pioneered.That is,space is not only a material carrier,but a spiritual carrier that exists as a container.Its related theories are subsequently studied and applied in the fields of literature,film and television.Since the birth,documentary has been an objective record with real people as the main object and a non-fictional static image,displaying in time and space.The development of documentaries in China has mainly gone through two stages,namely,feature documentaries from the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the 1980 s and humanistic documentaries from the 1990 s to the present.The former focused on the mainstream narrative objects such as grand historical landmark events,epic heroes and magnificent geographical features of mountains and rivers.The latter began to pay attention to marginal figures at the bottom with documentaries and the "humanity" consciousness grew from bud to flourishing,some independent creative teamed start with individual destiny,paid attention to the surging tide of times,and returned to the rich spiritual core,with economic development,loose policies,and awakening of individual consciousness.Under the theoretical background of the spatial turn " trend of thought,combined with the film and television space theory and the characteristics of documentaries,the paper selects the outstanding humanities documentaries in contemporary China as the object for text analysis and sorts out the construction strategies of the humanistic documentary space theory,which presents three parts: structure space,connotation space and media space,in turn for deduction from creation to production to dissemination.The author creates graduation documentary Opening the Door to the World",taking construction strategy as a practical basis and allowing theory to support practice and practice to feedback theory.In summary,the author uses the existence of space to construct a documentary creation that combines narrative and metaphor. |
