| In teaching of Chinese for foreigners,there is often a situation that international students can express single sentences correctly,but have big problems when expressing it in paragraphs.Tracing back to the reason that there is a problem with discourse cohesion.This paper describes the performance of pronoun anaphora of native speakers and international students from the two dimensions of accessibility and discourse anaphora environment,and conducted a homogeneous analysis.The results shows that international students have mastered the high accessibility usage of pronominal anaphora in general,but poorly mastered the low accessibility usage.Also,due to their limited Chinese proficiency,international students are less influenced by chapter spacing.In addition,international students seriously confuse the personal pronoun anaphora with the zero-form anaphora and often misuse the demonstrative pronoun anaphora,such as misusing "this" as "that".In this paper,the cause analysis of the research results was carried out,and it is believed that international students are affected by three aspects: negative transfer of mother tongue and mother tongue thinking,incorrect learning and communication strategies of international students,and imperfect syllabus and teaching materials.Based on this,suggestions were made to the syllabus,teaching materials,teachers,and students to improve the problems in the current teaching.This thesis is divided into six parts.Part I.Introduction,it describes the origin and significance of the study,the research method,and corpus sources,etc.Part II.Review of the research on anaphora and pronoun anaphora.This part introduces the sources and classifications of anaphora theories,reviews from the perspectives of antecedents and pronoun form,and finally introduces the research on pronoun anaphora in teaching of Chinese for foreigners.Part III.Overview of Chinese discourse cohesion.This part first introduces the content of discourse and cohesion,proves the importance of pronoun anaphora in discourse cohesion through previous data,and introduces the use of personal pronoun anaphora and indicative pronoun anaphora among native Chinese speakers respectively with the help of data.Part IV.It is about the use of pronoun anaphora among international students.This part takes the third part as the basis,and makes a homogeneous comparison of international students’ pronoun anaphora indexes according to the data in the previous part,and draws conclusions.After that,the pronoun anaphora errors of international students are classified and finally summarized.Part V.The causes of international students’ pronoun anaphora errors and teaching suggestions are presented.The paper suggests that international students are affected by negative native language transfer and native language thinking,incorrect learning and communication strategies of international students,and inadequate curriculum and teaching materials,and makes suggestions for the outline,teaching materials,teachers and students.Part VI.Conclusion,it is the summary of this paper. |
